TGI Dammusi Preziosi

I book the holiday through direct contact with Barbara in the month of February 2023 and I am offered a rate including the rental of a Panda (without the year of registration having been specified) which in the month of June amounted to a sum of 45 euros per day. Upon our arrival at Pantelleria airport on Sunday 11/06/2023 we were shown in the arrivals car park a Panda I think from the seventies without power steering, air conditioning, with the gears kicking in, dirty, with the front glass clouded by dust without the possibility of cleaning it because the rear window wiper does not exist without water. With this vehicle, for my part, it is impossible to travel safely through the streets of Pantelleria and in any case given the price, which easily corresponds to that of any local car rental company (with new cars) I do not find it correct to propose it to a customer without specifying that it was a car to be SCRAPPED, not to be rented. After a tiring arrival at the Dammusi Presiosi we are welcomed by a kind all-round maintenance worker who somehow gives us two indications and at which we immediately point out the problem of the car, given that not even the shadow of the owners. The next day we show up for breakfast where everything is very approximate, a poor girl on her first day of employment who couldn't find what she needed to make a hood, little food on the table (a single table to share with the other guests, passing the limited food present from hand to hand) but at the best moment Mrs. Cristina, the owner, enters the scene, perhaps suddenly woken up by the breakfast girl who, informed of new to the problem relating to the car, he tells us that the only way to solve it is to travel 16 km again (which in Pantelleria is worth 50 on a normal road) to return to the airport and rent another car, which I would have gladly done if February if I had been informed that the machines supplied at the Dammusi Preziosi were wrecks! Having seen the response, my wife allows herself to point out, in a polite manner, the inconvenience of the situation on holiday and Mrs. Cristina immediately brings out all her rudeness telling us not to raise our voices AT HIS HOUSE and that that was the door to LEAVE the hell out immediately! Shortly afterwards the husband arrives trying to fix it but by now the vase was broken and we very willingly leave the place. I wanted to point out to the Lady that only the presence of other people at breakfast saved her from a response in kind because we are polite people and that yes, we were guests in her house, but PAYING! Having said that about the place and the Dammuso except for the outdoor patio with kitchen overlooking the sea, quite small room, inconvenient location because it is far from the center and the only petrol station. Having said that, not all evils have a silver lining because we are now in a brand new structure ,just opened,fantastic with friendly staff,with a decent car!enjoying the holiday. C

Ho trascorso una settimana con la famiglie in questo resort molto bello e caratteristico. Paolo con la moglie sono ospiti perfetti, gentili e sempre disponibili. Paolo organizza anche tour con suo defender in montagna e col gommone sul mare, esperienze molto interessanti. Colazione servita nello splendido terrazzo coperto vista piscina e mare.
