The Golden Spurs

We booked The Golden Spur Hotel last minute and were pleasantly surprised. For the price, it was a great deal. We stayed in family room #22, which was massive—plenty of space for everyone to spread out comfortably. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, which is always a bonus. The only small downsides were two burnt-out light bulbs in the room and the fact that the property is very poorly lit at night. The sign isn’t illuminated, and the parking lot could use much better lighting—it was tricky to find the hotel and even harder to locate our room after dark. This could also be a safety concern, so hopefully they address it in the future. Overall, we’d still happily stay here again for the value, space, and comfort—it just needs a few lighting improvements to be perfect.

The hotel is nice, clean, and quiet and the location can't be beat. I also felt safe staying here as a solo traveller. Now the cons - ROKU TV that requires using your own subscription services; no local TV or cable services provided. I prefer firm bedding, but the beds in this place are the extreme - hard as the limestone cliffs of the Grand Staircase Escalante.

Great place to stay. Incredibly clean rooms. Well maintained. They have this remote check in and check out thing down. Would definitely stay here again.

Strong air freshener is my only complaint.

Easy access to main highway into town. Close to the barbecue restaurant!

My work has me travel through the rural parts of Utah, I have stayed at the Golden Spur several times. The rooms are always clean. Check in is easy and no matter what time I get there the room is ready. Thank you for the convenience
