Except for the front desk, other services and environment are very good. The chef, restaurant, swimming pool, bar, spa and other services are all very good. The environment is impeccable. You can see beautiful fish at the pier beach and watch the sunset and pick shells at the back beach. The restaurant is delicious and the chef is excellent.

My family booked three rooms. We checked in at the pier and were immediately impressed by the friendly service. After arriving at the hotel by speedboat, we were greeted by a waiter who called himself Xiaolin. He took us to the library and explained the hotel's activities and restaurants. I couldn't tell if he was having trouble or if he was having some health issues, but he was completely indifferent the entire time. He barely managed a few words when we asked questions, without a single smile. Some questions he didn't even answer, just staring at us with half-lidded eyes. The hotel's environment is excellent, so there are inevitably a lot of insects in the room. Mountain view rooms are better.

This was my first time on a Malaysian island trip, so I wasn't sure about the island's character. Different room types have different check-in rules, especially regarding families with children, so be aware. Upon arrival, I found the island to be beautiful and private.
Most of the staff were courteous. Morning hikes and water sports require advance reservations, which was quite organized.
The various restaurants offered a wide variety of dining options, the beaches were clean, and the island's recreational facilities generally satisfied my family and me.
Because of the pristine environment, various insects were unavoidable, especially ants, both inside and outside the room. I'm not sure if they were fire ants. My only complaint was that the hot water in the room was inconsistent, sometimes even nonexistent. The hot tub had no hot water and was leaking.
Finally, I want to thank my family and me for a wonderful island experience.

Thank you to the hotel for upgrading our sea villa to a suite. The room was very spacious, with plenty of balconies, and it was a very comfortable stay.
Just two small suggestions:
1. The boat to and from the island has fixed schedules, and you'll need to pay an additional RM 500 for a private boat before and after, which wasn't mentioned during the booking process.
2. From checking out of the Garden Villa at 11:00 PM to checking in at the Sea Suite at 3:30 PM, you'll have over four hours of free time, so it's impossible to find a seamless room change.
