Nice traditional Melayu Dayak exterior of the hotel. Breakfast was ok. So many mosquitos in the room.

Nice relaxed hotel. Big rooms. Well-appointed breakfast. Nice grounds. 2nd floor has no elevator so you have to climb.

I informed with quite an advance(4 days) that finally I couldn't enjoy my reservation (flight changed by the airline) and I asked them to cancel the night, but they refused.
Of course the booking policy was not refundable but I would have appreciated their consideration and having back my money. I warned in advance, I asked kindly, but no way.
Well, it wasn't their obligation but it wasn't so difficult.

The hotel is not in the center of Pangkalan Bun but is a good base for various activities. The breakfast is extensive and in the restaurant you can eat well in the evening.
The large garden invites you to linger. The room could use a fresh coat of paint. It wasn't exactly clean, smelled a bit of mold, the mirror should be replaced.
The staff was friendly and the duvets were changed upon request.

Worst hotel ever!! Came here while the whole hotel was hired to dozens of children for a singing contest, so we barely got any sleep!! They would not enforce any silent times at all, no consideration to other guests whatsoever. No reasoning, no other room available, only possibility to cancel while standing there at 5pm. Room was crappy and worn out, everything stained. Does not look like the pictures at all. Smallest towels to shower with ever. Breakfast was horrible, only Indonesian buffet which was clearly standing there for hours with the lids open. Asking for food poisoning! No proper restaurants close. Would definately not recommend!

This is great value for money the night before of after your experience in the Borneo jungle. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly. The hotel has a nice garden in which you can enjoy your breakfast. There is an omelet station in the garden, but apart from that, breakfast options are few. Breakfast is ok, but nothing to write home about. We had dinner at restaurant and we had no complaints. This hotel is the best hotel on the "right" side of town, i.e. close to the airport and Kumai, from where the kelotok boats depart. Picking another hotel would add more time to your transfer (even if it may still be the standard price of IDR 70k).

We stayed here before and after a three day tour into the rainforest to see orangutans in wildlife. The hotel is nicely located between airport and city center. It is about a 2km walk to the yellow Palace and waterfront city. The walk along the street is a bit unconvenient but doable. There are no taxis at night so plan carefully. The hotel itself offers spacious rooms with AC. The rooms are a bit outdated from European perspective but I have seen far older furniture and bathrooms and far more expensive hotels in the US and elsewhere. For the price, the rooms are more than you can expect. Breakfast was included and offers mostly indonesian food. There is also a cafe/restaurant offering western food. Overall, we would choose this hotel again for a stay in the area.

Nice hotel, nearest to the Pangkalan Bun airport.. the room was so comfort. Good place for you before you run for the first flight on the next day. I recommend this hotel because the location is strategic and many food spot around the hotel especially in the night.
Response from Property: Dear BayuMT23, Thank you for staying with us. We look forward to welcoming you back for another wonderful experience. Travel safe. Warm regards from all of us, Bian Krisnadwi Hotel Manager

We stayed in this hotel for a total of three nights. We booked here to have a place to stay before and after our orangutan tour. If you don't have huge demands, we can recommend this typical local hotel. The price-performance ratio is right. The hotel staff were also always very friendly and helpful. The attached restaurant, where we ate very well, deserves special mention. We were able to rent a scooter from the hotel (thanks to the hotel staff who provided his private scooter) with which we explored the area. However, despite searching for a long time, we didn't find anything that was really worth seeing. Maybe you'll have better luck 😉
