Tras aparcar siguiendo las detalladas indicaciones de los propietarios, ya las vistas de la zona son de quitar el hipo. Nos alojamos en la habitación familiar ‘El Escondite’, una preciosa habitación en dos alturas (las imágenes hablan por sí solas). El desayuno en el porche de la casa es de verdadero lujo. Ya sea bajo los rayos de sol o bajo la lluvia, es un lugar mágico que te invita a desconectar. La Cortina ha resultado ser un maravilloso campo base para conocer muchos de los rincones del paraíso natural que es Asturias. Agradecer a Carlos y Yolanda su acogida. Nos sentimos como en casa desde el primer momento.

Todo, de principio a fin, ha sido una maravilla. Las vistas de la casa son espectaculares. Es un sitio tranquilo y silencioso donde se respira paz. El alojamiento es inmejorable. Carlos te da consejos sobre dónde comer o qué visitar que a nosotros nos ha ayudado muchísimo.
El desayuno está delicioso, cada día cambia y es muy variado y desayunar con vistas a las montañas no tiene precio. Sin duda si volvemos, repetiremos este lugar ❤️

JUst perfect
We had a wonderful stay at Casa Rural La Cortina, so chilled out with those wonderful views. The property is so in keeping with the natural environment it is surrounded by. Our welcome was very hospitable and the hosts were very eager to make our stay just perfect. We really appreciated the fact that the local produce offered at breakfast time was explained to us and was absolutely delicious, we were intruded to delicacy that we have never had the pleasure to taste, it was most certainly the best breakfast we enjoyed during our extensive stay in Northern Spain. The quality of the bed linen and the extremely comfortable bed along with a great shower were very much appreciated. We hope to return. Thank you so much.

The views of the mountains are beautiful. The house is very well maintained, clean and cozy. We went to Covadonga, Los Lagos, cares route, Arenas de Cabrales, descent of the Sella. It is a very quiet place, they have wifi and it works and they even have Neflix. We all liked it. Thanks to Carlos.

We needed to spend the night for family reasons but we were fascinated by the entire region that, although we already knew, had always been a quick pass. La Cortina is in a village with easy access via a paved road. We almost did a self-check-in because the owner was not there and on the phone he told us where to pick up the key and what the room was. Silence reigned, he recommended that we go to Arenas de Cabrales for dinner, beautiful and bustling. Back again silence, we thought we were alone. In the morning when we went down to breakfast we couldn't believe how many people had spent the night in the house, several families but all respectful of the environment, there were even children. Highly recommended option to stay in the area. A discovery.

We love La Cortina first for its location, second for its views, third for Carlos and Yolanda (quality hosts)... fourth for the spectacular lunches looking at the Picos, fifth for that very clean suite with a luxury bathroom... .it could continue like this until tomorrow...I invite you to enjoy this wonderful rural house, with exquisite treatment... We have been twice and each time it surprises us, it welcomes us, it pampers us...and we feel like at home....and that friends...is priceless...I'll leave it there.
