La famille m'a reçu dans leur modeste hébergement a Panauti. Ne vous attendez pas à un grand hôtel luxurieux ce n'est pas la peine.
En revanche, la générosité dont ils ont fait preuve a été remarquable. Je me suis sentie comme à la maison et j'ai pu en apprendre beaucoup sur la culture népalaise. J'ai vécu une expérience humaine incroyable et dégusté d'excellents plats très copieux !

We stayed in Ram and Rajani’s lovely home in Panauti in October 2024. They were extremely hospitable and welcoming. Their traditional home is on 5 floors. The windows had shutters but no glass , but every comfort was offered and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Ram took us on a walking tour around Panauti and we visited the Museum, and even climbed a hill to have a panoramic view at sunset. We went shopping for local vegetables and Rajani is sn amazing cook. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast with them. Alas our stay was too short. We look forward to revisiting them.

They stay at Sabita’s place was amazing! We loved it! Home away from home ❤️ She and her family are great hosts. Their house is amazing and with all confort! The project supports women that can work earning money, not being completely dependent on their husband. Thank youuuuu

Community Stay Home...un'esperienza da provare! È stato bello conoscere Shila, il cuore pulsante della comunità di Panauti. Una donna con una grande visione e sincera determinazione, che ha fatto del suo piccolo paese un centro di accoglienza per viaggiatori che hanno bisigno di un pò di autenticità. L'alloggio che offre e semplice e spartano ma si sente la sua cura e pulizia impeccabili. La comunità che si è creata intorno all'accoglienza turistica ha dato la possibilità a molte donne di crearsi un lavoro e avere cosi un'indipendenza economica. Ci si può anche immergersi in un'esperienza culinaria newa, mangiando nel ristorante tipico al centro di Panauti gestito da un altro gruppo di donne. Shila prepara nella sua cucina magnifiche colazioni e noi abbiamo potuto provare il suo dhal di legumi misti e i famosi pancake bhara. Molte donne potrebbero essere ispirate dal suo esempio e dalla sua energia! Andatela a trovare per fare un'esperienza molto interessante!

The most amazing experience you can ask if you want to experience Nepali culture. Kumari is one of the nicest people we’ve met and she made our stay unforgettable. The room is spacious and all is very clean yet simple and basic as you would expect from a home stay which is meant to characterize Nepali lifestyle. Her niece and nephew are adorable and we enjoyed a lot with them also. All n all I highly recommend!!

Siamo stati ospiti di Kumari Tamang e della sua splendida famiglia. L'accoglienza è stata ottima e le attività proposte altrettanto. Ci è piaciuta molto la visita di Panauti, con tappa al ristorante in cui abbiamo assaggiato un'ottima birra di riso e altre prelibatezze. Inoltre abbiamo cucinato cibo nepalese, ho fatto un tatuaggio all'henne e mi sono vestita anche con un bellissimo sari

Abbiamo soggiornato due notti a casa di Shila e la sua famiglia. Avere la possibilità di stare stare in famiglia arricchisce molto il viaggio perché permette di entrare maggiormente in contatto con chi ci ospita, scoprire e comprenderne le abitudini, dalle piccole cose quotidiane ad aspetti culturali più profondi. Shila è una donna eccezionale, forte e intraprendente e sua figlia e suo marito simpaticissimi e disponibili. Nei giorni in cui siamo stati loro ospiti ci hanno accompagnati alla scoperta di Panauti, abbiamo condiviso il tempo libero e cucinare e mangiare con la famiglia è stato davvero divertente. La camera a noi riservata era accogliente e con bagno privato e la casa si trova a pochi passi dal centro storico di Panauti. Consigliato! Francesca e David
