What was good? Good location with walking distance to everything. Good sized rooms. A number of things could be better: 1. The bed is too small, and it squeaks a lot. We saw earplugs by the bed when we arrived and thought it was to handle the noise from the roof top bar across the street, but it was more for the bed noise. 2. For an apartment like this, I had expected a few more things in the kitchen area--like an espresso machine. Also, there was salt, pepper, and oil, but an apartment like this (in a hotel or an Airbnb) would have had some coffee, tea, and other things 3. The wifi was very intermittent, which also affected the quality of TV watching--constant wifi-induced interuptions 4. The lighting system was insane. We managed to work it out in the bedroom, and that was most important. In the other room, there is motion sensor controlled lights, and several (unusual) light switches, and no instructions. The first day, the light would go off and on every time we moved. We managed to switch them off completely. Just keep it simple. 5. The staff were mostly quite quick in responding to questions via the Booking app. We arrived in Panama tired after a long flight. Different messages gave two different addresses to the apartment which we noticed when we were in the taxi to go to the apartment (turns out they were both correct!) but it stressed us and the taxi driver out. We saw a 24/7 help number we could call, but it did not work. The help number should rather be sent in Watch app, or be a link one can click on

Amazing Find in Casco The apartment is in a private building diagonal to Plaza Herrera close to everything (bars, restaurants), Amazing view on the balcony overlooking the southern entrance of the canal. The apartment is well distributed (2 distinct areas), comfortable and well furnished

Loud. Do not recommend. The building is nicely renovated but directly adjacent the loudest bar in the neighbourhood. Even with earplugs it was not possible to sleep with the music at full blast until 2:30. Would not stay here again.

Loud - do not book Do not stay here. The apartment is so loud adjacent to the nightclub across the street that it is impossible to sleep. We ended up having to move the mattress into the kitchen and close the door to try and block out more noise. Terrible.

There should be a mentioning of the rooftop across the road. The music is loud and goes till 3am.
