Embassy Suites by Hilton Panama City Beach Resort

The hotel and staff were top tier. The lobby and courtyard area were beautiful, with a lovely view of the beach. The courtyard has games like jumbo Jenga and checkers, and a bag toss game.The pool bar was a 10/10, food as well. Speaking of food, the complementary breakfast including cook to order omelets was AMAZING! They also give guests 2 complementary drinks during happy hour each day of your stay. The location is right next to Pier Park (5min walk), which you can spend the day at with food, shoppes, kid friendly fun and rides.

This hotel was a perfect retreat with its spotless rooms and tranquil ambiance. The calm surroundings and excellent service made our stay truly enjoyable

We were extremely disappointed with the customer service at this hotel, especially considering we had chosen it for our honeymoon. We booked and paid for a Gulf View room, as clearly advertised on their website. What we got was a second-floor room overlooking the pool with a partial view of the Gulf through palm trees. Apparently, that qualifies as a “Gulf View” here, a complete misrepresentation and frankly, a scam. When we kindly asked the front desk for assistance, whether a different room or even one on a higher floor, we were met with rude, dismissive attitudes. Before we even finished explaining, staff members rolled their eyes and made it clear they had no intention of helping us. One woman with white hair was particularly hostile and barked at us for even asking, a behavior that completely contradicts Hilton’s own mission to “fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality.” There was nothing warm or hospitable about our check-in experience. The only reason this review isn’t one star is because of Aaron at the front desk, who remained respectful and genuinely tried to help, even though he ultimately couldn’t resolve the issue. He was the only staff member who showed us even basic decency. We chose this hotel expecting Hilton-level service and left with disappointment and frustration, not the way anyone should feel on their honeymoon.

We are Florida residents who like to do beach weekends around the state, staying mostly at Hilton properties. This one is by far our new favorite!!! Resort is well designed and super clean. Staff are all hardworking and friendly. Locations is amazing right next to pier park and across from the beach. The website from the hotel does does not do this place justice. Within a couple of hours of arriving we were already planning a trip back. Also shout out to John working the breakfast area who did amazing job and was super nice. Noah also did a fantastic job on a rainy, busy Sunday checkout morning over seeing everything curbside when smoothly.
