Holiday Inn Panama City

The restaurant and bar had one person covering both places and he was swamped. We gave up and had a drink in the room and ordered a pizza to be delivered. In the morning breakfast was good and served in a timely fashion. The room was clean and spacious.

Birth of a Great Grandbaby, bringing 4 generations together. Looked for a place with an indoor pool is hard to find in Florida. So glad this was recommended to me. It was 6 minutes from the hospital, perfect. The Hotel is bright, very clean, staff is welcoming. Great for a quiet stop over or off the beach craziness. I will return! Only drawback that I seen was breakfast is not free. The have breakfast dining with more of an upper taste. There are restaurants around there if your pallet is not eared that way.

This review is intended for the location: 2001 Martin Luther King Boulevard, Panama City, Florida, 32405 We drove 10 hours for a funeral. With the reservations well in advance, we hoped that they would allow us to check in early to rest and prepare for an emotionally filled day. This was not the case. “Shanice” (who claimed to be the location manager) at the front desk promptly told us that would not be a possibility and that a refund would not be processed for the extenuating circumstance of a direct family member’s passing. Upon calling the corporate number and speaking with the agent “Rosen” and her supervisor “Hank” (most like alias). They informed me the final decision comes down to the hotel “manager” and there is no one above them like a general manager to for a long time customer to speak to and corporate isn’t really corporate, but just a line hotel clerks refer people to get them off their backs. The lack of compassion and understanding is appalling. Hank did however escalate to his superiors “Joy” and “Anna” for an inquiry and provide phone recordings within 30-45 days for possible mental anguish litigation. If you value your loved ones and the memory of them, I STRONGLY URGE YOU TO CHOOSE BEST WESTERN or LA QUINTA in Panama City, FL. If they have no regard for your deceased family, just think of the no regard for you! They were WILLING to accommodate and allow me to check in early DESPITE having no reservation. I will be posting this review on other sites to spread awareness and continue to update on if the issue was resolved. The photo attached is from one of the LOVELYs OTHER ACCOMODATING HOTELS.

Took a birthday road trip. Panama City Beach was so crowded and nothing available. This hotel was off the main ***** and was such a pleasant surprise! Beautiful and very clean hotel. Got in lat and had dinner in the bar. The bartender, Janice, was so nice. Had a great time talking to her and she suggested we take a different route off the interstate traveling back to Tampa. We loved it! Would highly recommend this hotel if you enjoy being away from the noise and crowds at night.

Awesome location if you need to be close to the piers/marina for fishing. Food in walking distance, not bad for the price. Mrs Madison @ the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly and professional.

We came to stay for two nights ended up staying an extra night. I cannot complain about anything from checking in to check out (even a late check out ) our stay here was great. The room was clean and spacious, we had a view of the Panama Canal. Breakfast was excellent coffee was great the staff was very friendly and nothing was too much to ask for. Thank you for a great stay.

Great location and view with a fun environment. If you want peace and quiet don’t come here. We had a great time and will definitely be back. The employees are very helpful and nice. Everyone always had a smile on. Loved the pool area, made the hot days much easier to handle.

My room at the Holiday Inn was excellent and the bathroom sparkled. The lobby is bright and spacious with helpful, friendly Shanese at the front desk. Every possible service is available in the immediate vicinity. Holiday Inn Panama City is a bargain during Covid. Peppers Mexican restaurant, next door, is a lively scene with a Vegetarian section in the menu and well-managed food and service. I ate there twice. The home-made guacamole was excellent with the warm small tortilla side, and I preferred the roasted vegetable burrito to the spinach and mushroom enchilada, both served with rice and beans. Enterprise rent-a-car on 23rd Street & Frankford Ave offers after-hours return which is convenient and rare. The "stores" close at noon on Saturday. New Urbanism and walkable cities. Entering Rosemary Beach from the East on Hwy 30A is impressive with trees completely canopying the road and a green park square on the right. Seaside offers park & ride but not until 4:30 PM on a Saturday unfortunately, and there was no information posted at the lot. I asked someone. Otherwise, parking is very inconvenient in Seaside. Seaside is impressive because it is compact and Walkable, once you find a parking spot. Residential lots are small and setbacks are minimal. The back lanes are narrow for pedestrians only, which is a great feature. The "city" is not Big. Lots of pedestrians, cyclists and pets because of a Halloween competition for pets and the Saturday morning farmers market. Panama City is Not walkable, even in the old town south of 15th street. Residential rebuilding after devastating Hurricane Michael in 2018 is still going on. Otherwise there is not much to recommend.

It is nice, new, clean, large, modern, with many amenities and a nice restaurant and room service. I was pleasantly surprised. But, the carpet in my hotel room was very dirty and it needs to be steam cleaned regularly. The rest of the room was very clean and new. The staff was very friendly and helpful too.
