Very clean and homely place. Beautiful plants and cats on property. Friendly staff and owners. Breakfast options are limited. Tea/coffee is only available during breakfast.

We stayed at Afonso for 2N/3D. It’s very peaceful and covered by beautiful greenery carefully curated and maintained by Mr. Clifton. Mrs. Janet is also very caring and nice person. Will surely recommend this place for those who want to experience old Goa charm in Fontainhas.

A fantastic little laid-back find in a beautiful building, on a charming street, run by the wonderful and consummate hosts Clifton and Jeanette. The rooms are simple, but exceptionally clean, with good AC, comfortable and quiet, at least where we were on the upper floor. In-house laundry service is good, and at a fair price. The tasty breakfasts were enjoyed on the serene rooftop patio surrounded by beautiful plants and served by the wonderful, and warm, Kaveri. We had freshly squeezed passion fruit one morning, direct from the vine. The location was ideal for walking around the historic Portuguese houses and is surrounded by plenty of nice restaurants and cafés.

Una Guest House deliziosa e pulitissima. Clifton e la mamma sono di una gentilezza senza pari. Ti danno consigli e ti forniscono tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno. Ottima colazione. Si è davvero coccolati. Inoltre Clifton parla più lingue per chi ne avesse bisogno. Grazie di 💗

Dans l’agitation de Panaji il fait bon de se retrouver au calme… dans les rues aux maisons colorées…. Nous avons trouvé notre havre de paix chez Clifton et sa maman Jeanette Afonso … Une guesthouse typique des fantainhas merveilleusement décorée … avec son toit terrasse qui ressemble à un jardin très agréable pour le breakfast ( si vous souhaitez le prendre chez eux, à la carte en supplément) ou tout simplement pour un moment de détente ! Nos hôtes ont été aux petits soins pour nous… toujours de bons conseils et extrêmement adorables ainsi que leurs personnels ! La chambre est magnifique et très propre ! Eau chaude, wifi, climatisation et ventilateur Nous avons été ravis de cette belle rencontre… un plus pour nos amis francophones Clifton parle très bien le français ! Nous vous conseillons les yeux fermés cette charmante guesthouse !!! Un grand merci à eux Si nous devons repasser par là , nous ne manquerons pas d’y retourner…!

Very clean room, amenities and facilities are as described. Shubham ,nipesh and Saurabh did a good job to keep our house clean. Swimming pool was not crowded after 5pm and weather was still good. Restaurant Bld services was also impressive, very responsive and above all food was good

This is such a lovely quaint place right in the heart of Panjim, very convenient. This place is like home, neat & super clean. Beds are comfortable, bathroom/toilet is clean. No mosquitos. the place is done up so tastefully. Jeanette is such a lovely host and always helpful. Clifton has made a beautiful botanical garden, so mesmerizing.

Die Zimmer sind recht klein, *** fühlt sich beengt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer nach hinten raus, Aussicht direkt auf eine Wand. Auch die Dachterasse ist so mit Blumentöpfen vollgestellt ,daß alles eng ist. Frühstückist nicht emphelenswert. Wir wollten eine Nacht eher auschecken und mußten die Hälfte der Nacht bezahlen. Kulanz geht anders. Am Ende ( wir saßen schon 10 min imTaxi) wurden wir angerufen und ernsthaft beschuldigt einen elektrischen Wasserkocher mitgenommen zu haben (sofern ich mich recht erinner, stand keiner auf unserm Zimmer. So was Absurdes ist mir noch nie passiert und sagt so einges über die Besitzer aus. Nie wieder.
