I had to book a room in Pamplona for a couple of nights at a very last minute and with a low budget, without knowing the city at all,due to other commitments that did not go as planned.I opted for this place as it was cheaper than others and very close to the bus station, that I needed to use for the three days there. The joint appears to be mainly used for long-term accommodation by students, with the odd rooms rented out for short term.
PROS
The receptionists I dealt with were very corteus and polite.
Check in/out hassles free.
The fire alarm went off (false one anyway) and it was promptly dealt within a few minutes by a staff member.
Next to the hotel there is a bus stop where you can hop on a bus to the city center and will take a 10 mins ride.
Supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs ,can be also found within a 5 mins walk.
CONS
There is only a lift in the place that,as the joint was busy, was taking for ages.
I was there for 2 nights and no hosuekeeping was provided.
Not impressed at all with the overall cleanliness of the room and especially the corridors of the building, where a muggy smell of mold was clinching my nose as I was walking along them.
The A/C appears to be 'not an A/C' but a simple fan unit in the room conceiled in the ceiling. The room was warm and I did not get a good sleep.
The fridge was not cooling at all.
No facilities at all.
As I said,it was a very last minute booking so I guess I got what I paid for.Would not return.
