The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. We needed a rollaway bed and they quickly provided it. I booked this hotel because of the pool and hot tub. When we arrived, we were told the hot tub was shut down and the pool temperature was not working well. My kids attempted to swim, but the water was too cold. I could have stayed in another hotel with a working pool for the same price. With that being said, I’d still stay here again if I needed to pass through that area.

I was befuddled upon check-in to come in to a stifling hot room; the check-in person came up, did something to the AC and said it was good. I came back a half hour later after running a late errand and it was worse. I begged to switch rooms nearby (it was after midnight and my stuff was in the room) but he said he’d have to charge me more and I could only move to a room a floor up on the other side. I wasn’t quite in the mood for that so late but I did it. The second room was okay; small but clean and the AC worked. But the keys didn’t and I had to keep coming down (two floors) to get them fixed. I complained and spoke to the manager who promised to give me a discount but it never showed up on my card. If you get a good room the first time, it’s a really good value. But I can see signs of decay around the hotel. For example, the third floor hallway was also stifling hot (like my second floor room). Pet-friendly for $28.25/night after tax.

Wheelchair accessibility is unusually well done and every member of staff I met is particularly thoughtful and considerate in response to special needs, I found in recent travel with family to a wedding. All too rare! I would definitely stay here again and I give it highest recommendations. This place was worth a bit of a detour! Even the breakfast is a cut above the usual.
