This was our special stay and it was fabulous. The character of the monastery was beautiful, the staff super helpful and memories made spending time in the salon, pool and restaurant very special. We were wanting a quiet couple of days following a frantic week and It was simply wonderful and i would highly recommend the stay.

Betoverend verblijf in historisch kloosterhotel – een absolute aanrader! Begin mei 2025 verbleven we een paar dagen in het prachtige Monasterio de San Francisco in Palma del Río – en wat een ervaring was dat! Dit voormalige klooster ademt historie en rust, op de kerkklokken na. De klokken zorgen voor sfeer maar zijn ook best aanwezig…Verder biedt het hotel tegelijkertijd alle comfort die je je maar kunt wensen. De ruime kamers en badkamer zijn stijlvol ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. De sfeervolle tuinen, patio’s en het heerlijke zwembad maken het plaatje compleet – een oase van ontspanning. Wat echt indruk maakte, was de buitengewone gastvrijheid van het personeel. Tijdens een onverwachte grote stroomstoring bleven ze kalm en zorgzaam, en deden ze er alles aan om het ons én de andere gasten zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Grote klasse! De ligging is ook ideaal: vanuit het charmante Palma del Río sta je binnen een uur in zowel Córdoba als Sevilla – perfect voor dagtripjes vol cultuur en tapas. Kortom: een unieke plek met karakter en comfort.

Un séjour quasi parfait, avec un lieu assez magique et un personnel trés attentionné, jusqu’au chef qui nous a régalé! Nous étions un groupe de 24 personnes dont 15 cyclistes, habitués à effectuer des séjours de vélo en Europe. Mention spéciale pour Maria José avec qui j’ai préparé ce voyage et Ana Belen qui a été trés disponible et à notre écoute! Encore merci pour cet excellent séjour au Monastério! Emmanuel

Het was een ontzettende mooi en fijn hotel met een niet normaal mooi zwembad. Verder zien de kamers er mooi uit vooral de badkamer. Alleen vind ik het wel jammer dat de medewerkers geen engels kunnen en dat het ontbijt te duur was. Je kan beter in het dorpjes wat te eten kopen, want het zal beter smaken en je krijgt een stuk cultuur mee.
