We went for a cocktail at the front of the hotel, which was a lovely setting to watch the world go by. We were extremely disappointed with the quality of the serving staff. We waited 23 minutes before we managed to attract a member of staff who took our drinks order. The drinks came within 5 minutes so no complaint there but a simple smile and some courtesy should be expecred from a 5 star hotel. In the hour we were there, not one member of staff came to see if we were okay or if we needed some more drinks, where is the service? We have stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world and service is the key aspect to ensuring that your Customers keep returning. The staff serving the bar and the street area need some basic training to raise the standards to the level expected. We have stayed at the Esplendido at Soller and the Portixol in Palma and the service at both were exceptional. To the general manager of Hotel Cappucino........recruit and train some courteous and efficient staff who will reflect your claim as a 5 star hotel.
