Step into Sant Jaume’s lobby and the first two things you’ll notice is the golden rays of light shining through the towering atrium and a spectacular 12m installation by acclaimed artist, Robert Ferrer I Martonell. The esteemed Mallorcan artist’s three-dimensional masterpiece was created specifically for Sant Jaume, as were many of the hotel’s other notable works. Museum-worthy pieces include art by Estefanía Pomar, Victoria Masdeu, Jordi Alcaraz, and Carlos Irijalba. The colorful illustrations by Victoria Masdeu explore the many things visitors can do or see in Palma. A soothing urban bolthole, Sant Jaume’s shared spaces combine contemporary sofas and soft rugs in natural shades with navy blue walls and eye-catching designer lighting.
