Mhouse Boutique Hotel Palma

Hotel said our car is too big to park in their parking, so we have to park in the public parking which is 10mins walk away. The hotel is cozy.

Absolutely perfect city break hotel. Central, lovely wine, great coffee & lovely staff. Gorgeous courtyard and sunbathing terrace. We would definitely book here again.

This is a pleasant hotel - but only boutique in that it is small. On arrival at 7.15pm, we were greeted with a glass (half a glass actually) of cava. Very amenable, but we quickly realised it was because the reception staff weren’t ready for us and seemed stressed. We had to wait 30 minutes before getting into our rooms, which should really have been available from 3pm. The room we had, classed as Superior Double, was so small that I still have bruises on my knees from knocking against the bed leg as I tried to pass between the bed and the open window. The room was probably the size it claimed, but its wedge shape meant most of the space was corridor. Also, one of the bedside lamps didn’t work, there was only one chair, so we couldn’t both sit at the same time unless we used the bed and there were no bathroom extras such as body lotion. For almost €300 a night I don’t think this is good value. However, the staff worked hard to sort our issues out and even offered to move us to another room the following night. As we were only there for 2 nights, this didn’t seem worthwhile for us. The bed was large & comfortable. The pool area is tiny but well designed. You can’t have a swim, but it’s kept beautifully clean. You have to book a slot to use it. The breakfast is ok. The breakfast staff are absolutely delightful and nothing is too much trouble. The location is good. All in all, I think this is a nice enough hotel, but the room we had (#208) probably should be avoided.
