Desert Riviera Hotel

I always love my stay at Desert Riviera. Palm Springs is my go to destinations. The rooms at Desert Riviera are quaint and well appointed. The service is great, the staff seem to really care about me and go out of their way to make sure I have everything I need. This particular stay, I was pretty much alone there which I love. This is a place you could enjoy year round, my next visit may be during winter.

We go to D.R. a couple of times each summer. We like it warm/hot and we hang out at the pool mostly, talking to others and just relaxing. This time was special as my wife and I redid our vows. We had lots of family in town though they all stayed elsewhere and the ceremony was also elsewhere. Never-the-less, the folks at D.R. were especially great. I ordered the Romance Package and that too was fantastic. Traci, Steve, Misty, Teri and others did their usual thing making us and the rest of the guests feel special and right at home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Desert Riviera and will definitely be back. First, the staff is excellent. Instead of sitting behind a front desk, the property has a “host” that circulates around the property talking with guests and making sure that everyone is taken care of and enjoying their stay. Second, nothing has been overlooked to make the stay effortless, from a shared refrigerator in the common kitchen (in addition to the kitchenettes and smaller fridges in the rooms), a laundry room, sunscreen, towels, pool floats, snacks, water bottles, popcorn, margaritas at three, bicycles to borrow, and the list goes on. The hummingbird feeders are particularly charming. Finally, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and stylish. We spent three days doing absolutely nothing and we loved it.

I have stayed at many hotels in the Palm Springs area and this quaint small hotel is, by far, the best stay in over 30 years. We arrived without a reservation but Tracy accommodated us eagerly and with a smile. The rooms and the entire property are very clean. The pool and pool area are very clean. There are pool towels, sunscreen, rafts, water, and bicycles for guests to use. Everything is free for the guests. I highly recommend to stay at the Desert Riviera. You will not be disappointed. I will definitely return for another high quality stay.

Every corner of the property is Instagram-worthy! Our room was spacious and impeccably clean. The pool area is a highlight and the service at Dessert Rivera Hotel was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. It was clear that the team takes great pride in providing an outstanding guest experience. Their local recommendations and personalized touches made me feel like a valued guest. The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring all that Palm Springs has to offer. It’s just a short distance from downtown, making it easy to access dining and shopping, yet, it’s set back enough to offer a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Dessert Rivera Hotel is a true gem in Palm Springs. Whether you’re here for a romantic escape, a solo retreat, or a special celebration, this hotel delivers on all fronts. I cannot recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning soon!

I have been to Palm Springs only one other time, got to stay this past weekend and the hotel was such a nice experience. The staff was so friendly and conversed with us like we were a part of the family. It’s quiet, super clean, and such a relaxing atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back

We recently stayed at this delightful hotel, and it was everything I hoped for and more. From the moment I arrived, the authentic Palm Springs vibe was evident—think retro charm meets modern comfort. The clean rooms were stylishly decorated, and the amenities were fantastic—from the BBQ area to the pool and jacuzzi to the bikes provided for our use What really made my stay exceptional, though, was the staff. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. If you’re looking for a place that captures the essence of Palm Springs while offering top-notch comfort and service, this hotel is an absolute gem. I can’t wait to return!

Excellent Hospitality. Very clean. The pool was the perfect temperature. There are several restaurants within walking distance. No charge to park in their lot. Very quaint, quiet, relaxing property. So pretty at night with all the candles. The breakfast is a nice touch.

Very nice place that my parents have stayed with friends multiple times. This was my first time staying as a couple and it was great! Nice staff, clean big rooms, may things inclusive (breakfast, free drinks, popcorn, bikes, etc.) close to lots of places, nice pool, and fun things like a pizza oven (where you can pay to have them make you poolside pizza that's from a local shop). They will let you check in early and stay late if possible. So worth it and very relaxing. I will be back!
