We were there for only one night but were very impressed with the facilities and the customer service. It was a great place for our family stay (with our maltipoo) and we'd come back again anytime.

Beautiful hotel. We were upgraded to the King Suite with two large couch areas, so it could probably sleep 4 people! The swimming pool was incredible. Great DJs playing, and an incredible vibe with so many young people lounging by the pool.

Here's the deal: I've been passing by this hotel many times and the 'party' aspect of it isn't what I care about in a hotel so yes, I might be a bit biased. a friend wanted to stay there before moving to our regular hotel. We have stayed during a hot week in July and the pool was literally boiling. It was crowded, felt not very clean and service by the pool wasn't really a thing. The music choice is always up to the taste, it didn't fit mine. The rooms are clearly old motel rooms and you can see the age here and there. The shower pressure was good, the bed was comfortable. The AC was uncomfortable in both temperature and dryness. The crowd was a good mix but ultimately, I'm not made for a party hotel where loud music is blasting. I think it was a solid stay but won't be back.

I've stayed at the Ace PS at least 8 times since it opened in 2009. It's one of my favorite places to stay in Palm Springs. The staff are still (as always) SUPER nice, and chill. Unfortunately they are undergoing major construction (both poolside and the rooms) so there are workers everywhere and construction noise at the pool where they are building what may ultimately be a cool cabana area? I wish I would have known this. I ended up paying $349 for the cheapest room on Saturday night , with all the resort fees taxes etc it ended up as $475. I met up with girlfriends here and honestly the rooms were not up to par. (Ace..I have pics of the room issues if you are interested). I arrived Saturday 8/10 at 4pm, I did not go in the main pool because it was filthy dirty. There were napkins and hair ties at the bottom of the pool, and clumps of hair floating on top. I get it. This pool gets a lot of use. I figured I'd wait until Sunday morning when the pool was clean again before going in. Sadly, all day Sunday that same debris sat in the bottom of the pool (Ace..I have pics of this if you want it, I won't post it). Monday morning the pool HAD been cleaned, but of course I was checking out. I still had a good time, mostly because of the people. I also had a killer massage on Sunday morning with Stacie Swartz and she was amazing. Highly recommend her services. The mahi mahi tacos at the restaurant were delicious. I think I'm going to move on to another hotel in the future. Sorry, Ace. I'm sad to leave.

I have been consistently staying at the Ace Hotel for 4 years because of their great pet policy/fee and getting discounts during their Black Friday sale. Overall, I have enjoyed my stays and their service before and didn't have much to complain about before (except when the shower handle fell off and there were bugs one time). The property definitely needs a facelift; dingy rooms and old furniture but I have looked the other way until this recent trip. They had construction in the main pool area with sledgehammer noises and dust blowing everywhere. They didn't tell any of the guests ahead of time. Instead, they texted when it was happening instead as it was happening. The front desk was deducting the resort fees for that day as a "sorry." I thought fine, it'll be okay. We needed to leave by 4:30am the next day to get home and the front desk said there's no need to come to the front, we'd be able to leave when we want in the morning. (This isn't the first time we have done this, we've always left early to avoid traffic). Come 4:30am and we are unable to get out because the gate to where our car is parked is locked with a chain and padlock. We walk to the gate near the pool and it's also locked with the same thing. Insane! The door to get to the bar that leads to the front desk is also locked. There was no way to get to the front desk, we were locked in. There was no notice whatsoever. I run around trying to find an exit and it's all the way in corner at the edge of the hotel where I ran the other way to get our car. Lugging our stuff back and forth was a nightmare. To say that I was FURIOUS was an understatement. In addition to that, the room had a dingy mini fridge that didn't work and there were random stains on the walls in our room. I won't ever be returning, I'd now rather pay so much more for the convenience of being relaxed. Crazy thing to say.... I have already called the hotel and best they can do is take off a night fee. I'd rather not have be charged at all for this crappy place. Don't bother staying here. To management: you lost a faithful guest.

This hotel has become shabby over the years. The cushions on my patio were threadbare. The patio fireplace was cracked and had peeling paint. The patio gate didn't close securely. The landscaping is either dead or dying. The mattress was hard and lumpy, and gave me a sore back. The room had limited closet space, and there were no drawers for clothes. We'll appointed gym, nice pool. Great restaurant.

The Ace Hotel & Swim Club is a modern desert oasis with 2 deep pools, a spa, a gym and close to downtown Palm Springs. I enjoyed my Ace Suite with King bed, upscale living area with vintage furniture like a steamer trunk, guitar, record player and more. There was a private patio, fireplace and bath with a shower & tub. I relished the meals at the onsite Kings Highway (modern roadside diner) especially the Belgian waffles and breakfast burritos. The Feel Good Spa offers guest a laid-back massage and other spa treatments. I opted for the Deep Goodness Bodywork treatment to alleviate my tension and soreness. So, if you are looking for a hotel with a desert chic, natural hot springs and a mountain backdrop............then try the ..........Ace Hotel & Swim Club..............a resort framed by a mountain backdrop and modern homes.

We stopped here for breakfast/brunch as advertised on outdoor sandwich board. Service was very slow, even though there was only one other customer. My daughter had to ask twice for the coffee she ordered and they had no milk, cream, half/half for her coffee The waitress told her she could go next door (they owned that establishment) and ask for some milk, but they probably wouldn’t give her any. She went next door and they were happy to give her a cup of milk for her coffee. When we finally got our meal it was well prepared and tasty. When I asked for the check I was informed they were a no cash establishment. This was not on any sign, the menu or stated when we ordered.
