OMG - this hotel is amazing! We went for my mom’s 83rd and while we stay here twice a year, this experience was phenomenal thanks to Devon. Not only did she and Michael give me the perfect room, she gave my parents their dream room! This is the best hotel with a boutique feel and all the wants and needs you have. The pool bar staff is phenomenal- tysm Trent and Neil and to the lovely young ladies making coffee every morning- you rock too. The cleaning staff and maintenance staff is off the charts- hurry up and book now- you sooo won’t be disappointed.

The environment is great! The outside of the house is full of golf courses. The large area is full of Marriott. There are various room types, villas, townhouses, hotels. Originally, I wanted to make a two-bedroom villa. The order was not paid successfully. I changed the single room and the room was large. The sofa bed and balcony, the house is just fine, the blanket in the cupboard is a bit thin. Another 10 o'clock check out is a bit uncomfortable! Such a good environment, I had to turn around after checking out! Remind compatriots: Old American rooms are generally equipped with kitchen heating equipment, go out and prepare a light meal outside, ready to go!

It’s a very beautiful resort. The room was enough room for a family. We had full kitchen to prepare meals for the kids. The patio opened to a nice pond snd golf course. The pools were kept clean and there were plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas for the guests. We had a great time. 😎👍

To be honest this resort wasn’t our first choice for a girls trip - but I found us a great deal and it had decent reviews. We arrived late at night and were impressed by the spacious entry way. Check-in was quick and easy - although the front desk clerk was perhaps not the most friendly. I asked if he had any tips for us - it was our first time to the area and he said, “umm Palm Springs is about 30 min away”. Yep we just flew in so that’s one thing we did know We had the choice between the main building and outer building. I didn’t know what that meant so I went with main and I’m glad we did. We were in the 6th floor, not far from an elevator which was handy for the Oasis pool area Breakfast in the morning at Rockwood was fantastic. Between the group we tried the American breakfast and Wet Burrito on the first day and it was ll fantastic. The rest of the trip we opted for the buffet. At $32 a person including beverages it was a great deal. The buffet included fruits, bagels and breads, smoked salmon and meats, breakfast potatoes, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, waffles and an omelet station. On the weekend they had a crepe station. The pastry selections were fantastic and delicious. There were 3 pools in the Oasis pool area- a lap pool, larger pool and “upper deck”. The upper deck is just a smaller pool that seemed to be more of an overflow area - would have made sense to be an adults only pool but wasn’t. There were some VIP chairs but for $75 were completely unnecessary on our trip. We had no problem finding pool chairs near the pool and under umbrellas . Water stations around the pool were a nice touch The first day we had one pool server who was amazing and went above and beyond. Think his name was Connor. The next day we had a server that gave us a sign to raise when we wanted help…they sold pool floaties and I asked if we purchased one did the pool in gate them for us…most resort pools do…. She was offended I implied she might blow up the floaty and said we could do it ourselves or try to get a pool boy to do it but she brought the drinks. Ummm. Definitely didn’t expect our server to inflate a floaty - sorry I asked Pool drinks were great. Skip the nachos but the quesadilla was great and only $13 The lobby shop was inflated more than I expected but had a great selection of things you may have forgotten at home - also had pool floaties for $13 compared to $18-25 at the pool. The resort had a lot of fun things to do that we didn’t have time for - mini golf, outside lawn games and boat rides. The hotel bar looked fun and was centrally located Overall a very good stay - exceeded our expectations and I think we’ll be back! Definitely get the breakfast!

Very tired property that needs total renovation. Avoid it and use new Courtyard Marriott next to it. Carpet stained, drapes torn, poor quality bedding and linens. Cheap plastic shower stall. Motel 6 ambiance at Marriott price. Only bright spot was a cheerful staff at the checkin.

Maybe more like a 3.5. First, if you’re looking for clean and comfortable this works. Bed was very comfortable and rooms seem pretty updated. Lots of outlets, including USB, for charging. Staff was nice and helpful. Disappointing: I know food service is limited with COVID, but it is not clear on their website. There is no food here besides the little snack closet thing. Several options nearby including an Applebee’s in the same parking lot if you have low standards. The walls are pretty thin. The stomping above us was pretty loud and we could hear conversations from people in other rooms and on their balconies with our door closed. And the annoying thing is that, when you first enter your room, the TV is on and set to the hotel station. This is whatever, but if you’re next to a room that is vacant, you can hear the music looping every 10 seconds because they leave the TV on super loud. It’s a mild kind of torture.

We are MVC owners and tried this property as our LAX kids could drive over and meet us. We all loved this property. We got a remodeled 2BR and it was beautiful. We grilled and made a lot of meals in the room as we had a one year old with us. The room had everything we needed to cook each day and a high chair on request for the baby. We were in bldg. 1100 and stayed on top floor as others recommended this so you don’t hear others beneath you. There was one bldg between us and the main pool so short walk. The main pool had a splash pad and kiddie pool for little ones. The rec center was nice though we didn’t use much with the one year old. It was a great week and we would definitely come back. The only negative I could give it would be that the food/bar service shut down at 6pm each night and 7pm on the weekends. Seems super early but I’m guessing it’s because it’s low season. Temperatures were soaring but we utilized pools in morning and night and it wasn’t bad at all.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and hot each morning. Clean and spacious bedrooms. Kids enjoyed the pool time which was complimented by the not to hot weather. Nice location not far from local stores. Walmart, Costco and restaurants just couple miles away which made it quick fast to grab a bite to eat and get to relaxing.

Outstanding
KKaren WGood: 1. Room was clean and modern. Poor: 2. Housekeeping and breakfast variety was non-existent. 3. By 3:30PM housekeeping hadn't shown up all three days of our stay. 4. Had to ask twice for housekeeping to make the bed & replace towels. 5. Breakfast was the same all three mornings. Pre-frozen cheese omelet, sausage and dried-up potatoes. Location feels like in the middle of the dry, windy desert. Our car looked like it had driven thru a desert windstorm with dust and gritty sand that even seeped inside the car. Would not stay here again but opt for something closer to town with grass and trees and green landscape, not desert landscape.
We reserved this hotel for a one night stay. I reached out in advance to ask the hotel for a quiet room as I had to leave at 7 AM for a client meeting AND for extra blankets. When I arrived, no blankets and the room next door? Not quiet. At all. I had to go to the front desk to ask for blankets and they said they could only give me one (?) This is a $300 a night hotel. I put the request in days prior - they should have been in the room when I arrived. Also, as others have mentioned, the walls are paper thin. The hotel did not appear to be fully booked so I cannot understand why they would book rooms all on top of each other when people have specifically stated that they have to get up early for work. So, I was kept up all night by the neighbors and the heat fan kept clicking loudly all night. I did use the fitness center and for reasons unknown, the hotel set the temperature to 70 degrees (I don't keep my house in New England that hot in the winter). With the five people in there in the morning, it was very sauna like. Also one of the three treadmills was not functional. The bathroom was also so poorly lit I had to use my flashlight app to apply makeup in the morning. As for the pros, I thought the bedding was soft but $300 a night is crazy to pay for this. There seem to be other hotels in the area that I would absolutely look at before returning here.
AAntoinette AlvaradoEmbarc has been a family trip destination for years! This time I enjoyed it solo! Same great experience :) The service is amazing. Their staff is willing to lend a helping hand in everything and anything. I will continue to come here for years to come. This was my first time coming on a non-holiday week and it was the best ever! It was peaceful and quiet and a nice change of scenery. The people that come to stay at Embarc are always pleasant and friendly as well. Overall, a place to guarantee a pleasant vacation. Everything you need is in your room, and if you need extra kitchen supplies not equipped in the kitchen, it is just a call away to the front desk...easy! They have supplies stored away to keep sanitized due to covid that you can check out at the front desk, which are fun to pass the time. They have pool table supplies, air hockey, pickle ball, basketball and more. You can also choose which movie to show at their theater (a must do)! Highly recommend this place!!!!
GGANGQIANGIn Las Vegas, many hotels pay a resort fee. Best Western Hotel does not require a resort fee and breakfast. Breakfast is an American breakfast and you can make waffles yourself. Drive to Las Vegas Boulevard in less than ten minutes. Very good value for money.
GGuest UserThis was my first time to this property in the Palm Springs area. It is a large property so it is easy to get lost around the property driving your first day however it becomes easy once you get used to things. The rooms in the Enclaves are wonderful and spacious. I would recommend a room on an upper floor for more privacy and try for a room facing the golf course which is the best way to go. The pools are convenient and the staff is very helpful. The front desk/registration is busy normally and the staff does a great job of taking care of any requests.
PPmacP284Had a one night stay to visit family that were in town. The hotel was clean and quiet. The rooms were comfortable and well furnished. We had to request extra linens after discovering there was enough for one person (three in the room). The morning breakfast was well stocked. I thought there would be an issue with noise coming from the gas station. This was the total opposite.
GGuest UserWe booked three nights, stayed only two. It was a special birthday weekend for my wife. We booked Comfort Suites because we thought it was top end for Choice Hotels. It was one of our worst experiences in traveling for more than 60 years. To start with, the breakfast was terrible. There never was a complete breakfast. Eggs but out of bacon. The next day, just the opposite. Sugar free syrup for a waffle was like water. Tried cereal - no milk, just two empty containers. When I finally found someone to get the milk,it took forever for him to do it. No bread for toast, except for two pieces of stale bread in the tray. The worst part was the heating and air conditioning unit. We are both in our mid 80s and like it warmer than most. Set the AC for 75 and it kept reverting back to somewhere between 67 or 72. After the first night of getting up frequently to either turn the unit on or off ,manually to try to maintain a comfortable (their maintenance person was off that day and they had no one else to fix it) temperature, we finally decided to end our stay after two nights. Since we had used some reward points for a better room rate, the front desk person said we had to call Choice to get it changed and refunded. I called Choice and was told they would not refund the last, unused night money, but would refund the rewards. Big deal. After this experience, I wouldn’t stay in a choice hotel again if it was free. Other minor nuisances were there was only one small towel bar near the sink. None for the tub. No guide for the television, you just had to surf channels in hopes of finding something worthwhile. We tried to stick it out for the third night since we couldn’t get a refund but common sense prevailed and we went home after two nights. The clerk offered us a different room but odds were it would be the same and then there was the lousy breakfast. Home now in a comfortable temperature and looking forward to a breakfast tomorrow that won’t remind me of the bivouac meals that I had in the service. I’ve been traveling for over 60 years and can’t remember a worse experience. And $527 plus reward points for three nights of torture.
LlorifU7991SLThe only reason I'm giving a 2 instead of a 1 is because of the staff at the front desk. The gentleman who checked me in was very kind and helpful. The room, however, left a lot to be desired. There was no closet to hang clothes. Just a couple of hooks in the room to hang them on. No chest of drawers to put clothes in. Actually, there were no drawers at all in the room. My Granddaughter was sick with a cold and there were no kleenex in the room. Only amenity was a tiny bar of soap. The bath towels looked as though they'd already been used. The room itself was dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The fire alarm went off the first night at 1:45 a.m. and stayed on for a good 20 minutes. The fire department showed up and left a few minutes later, indicating that it was a false alarm, however, the motel staff didn't let any of us know what was going on. The second and last night, the alarm went off again at 1:45 a.m. but stopped after a few minutes. There were a lot of kids in the motel who were running up and down the hall upstairs just outside of our room. We complained to the front desk but to no avail. The running went on and off until midnight one night I stayed there in an attempt to save some money but in hindsight I wish I would have spent the extra money to stay somewhere clean and decent.
