Blue Princess Beach Hotel & Suites

Pros: really nice, hard working staff (although sometimes unable to help), food was good, maybe it was a bit samey but it was hot and you could always find something to eat. Clearly the views are amazing and can't be bettered. Bed and pillow, whilst not 4*, were comfortable enough. We expected a garden room and had a side sea view, this was an unexpected pleasure. Nice outside areas around the main building but, again, nowhere near enough seats. Poseidon bar (not part of the hotel) was great but sometimes the music was a little loud for us. Cons: Much steeper access than I realised, this is not made clear enough especially with blocks B and C, fortunately I had emailed them to tell them we are elderly and got a room in block A. I would not have been able to access some of the rooms 3 x a day after having meals. It all needs a lot of TLC and seems to be running on a shoestring. The main (and only) toilets in the restaurant area kept running out of toilet paper, I felt like I was moaning all the time. There is nowhere near enough free beds around the pool/on the grassed area for A block, when I asked about more beds they said they would mention it to the management but there were more beds at the 2 other pools which were inaccessible to me. There is no pool bar here although the structure is there for a swim up, the area inside this is full of rubbish. Our room was only made up twice in 7 days and it was not clean to start with. The shower head was old and temperamental like the water flow and the bottom of the glass screen was rusty. I spoke to one lady who said they had moved rooms three times because the water pressure was hopeless. The bathroom door needed about another 3 inches to fit the frame and the hairdryer was hanging off the wall, although it did work. The AI alcoholic drinks are not up to much and the worst part is they are served in thin plastic cups, at certain times of day there are no crock coffee cups just cardboard ones. For someone wanting a beer there were no pint plastic cups, quite ridiculous really. We weren't really bothered not drinking much, we used to go downstairs to the Poseidon beach bar and have proper branded drinks at very reasonable prices, bar staff smashing especially Monica. The sun beds on the beach are 15 euros. The safety box is in the reception, very old fashioned and not very big. The Wi Fi is rubbish unless you are near to reception/Poseidon bar. A shop for consumables, although only about 300 yards, is up a very steep, narrow and winding hill. The steps into the pool were a hazard as far as I'm concerned, I only went in the pool once because they were in danger of being ripped out of their fixings. It wasn't our best holiday but it wasn't our worst either. Safe to say I wouldn't go again and I might have looked a bit further than "the pretty face" of the resort had I known what the hotel was like, difficult to stay in this bay anywhere else because of the steep/narrow access. The most important for us was to have our children happy. We re lived good service ,nice food and a magnificent beach bar on the sea. The maisspnette we had was marvelous. Clean with view to the ocean. We suggest to all to visit Corfu and Liapades

We came back from one week stay in Liapades and Blue Princess Hote. A relax week on the beach of Liapades enjoying the sun and the sea. A wonderful beach with a really good beach bar and a la cart restaurant. Fresh fish and several traditional plates Rooms clean with daily service. Nice place. We hope to come back
