Honestly there was absolutely nothing we liked about this place and were hugely disappointed. We desperately tried to book something right away to leave but ended up having to stay 2 nights - the lady at the front desk told us we’d receive a refund if we contacted Booking to request a refund for our one night we cancelled and then completely ghosted me and Booking customer service reps. The room had no a/c, cockroaches, the larger spider I’ve ever seen and the washrooms were about a 2 min walk away from the room and disgusting. The showers didn’t work the first night and the sinks were also outside and just felt dirty brushing your teeth and washing here. I definitely had never slept less and felt so uncomfortable and gross staying here. We’ve stayed at some super cheap hostels around the world that were quite questionable but this was the first one we ever had to leave. Very disappointed they lied to us about a refund for the night we didn’t stay. It’s also a far walk into town and I got Dengue Fever from all the mosquitoes here oh and they charged me to use a towel…yes a towel which apparently aren’t included in the price if your room.

Останавливался на 2 ночи чтобы посмотреть подземную реку. От жилья до побережья, где все рестораны, 5 минут на машине. Пешком идти тяжело и не интересно. Вокруг нет ничего. Парковка не охраняемая. Самое ужасное это путь от парковки до котеджей: это резко уходящая вверх бетонная дорога. Тащить чемоданы приходится на руках. Домики фактически в джунглях, но насладится природой особо не получится, вокруг всё летает, жужжит и кусает. Сам котедж просторный - 2 этажа, 4 кровати, весь завален всякими журналами, статуэтками и прочим старьём. Комфорта минимум. Вода только холодная, сантехника в аварийном состоянии, кондиционера нет как нет собственно изоляции от внешнего мира. Всё в щелях, сетки на окнах помогают слабо... прилетает в дом всё что угодно. Спать надо под сетками. WiFi только на ресепшн и он так себе. С вечера надо выбрать что будешь на завтрак. Он максимально простой. Тур на реку организовывают.

This place has certainly seen better days. Don’t know where to begin with: the trash you see everywhere around the place, when you walk up the long way to the reception, searching for staff? The filthy cottages and apartments, with litter and mouse feces on the cupboards, wet, old, disgusting mattresses, missing toilet seats? Cold showers with dripping water (while there is water, sometimes it’s missing), dirty, old and insufficient ventilators, it’s a disgrace. And be sure to bring your lantern, in spite of the lacking illumination on the paths and and inside the apartments. And there’s very little comprehension for all the problems from the staff. The place is completely run down, apparently for many years, and it would need a lot of investment and work to turn it into something worth called a resort. We were lucky to leave a day earlier than expected. There’s a lot of other options in town, avoid this establishment, if you want to enjoy the otherwise beautiful Sabang.

Bambua is a well located accommodation with lovely family/staff to help you during your stay in Sabang. They help you booking your tour to the Subterranean River (1300pesos/pax), taxi from the airport (3500pesos) and transport to other towns like El Nido. Bambua is a very simple place, but it's among nature and well located, only 15min walk from the beach and deck (to take the boat for the subterranean river). They serve breakfast (250pesos/pax), dinner (375pesos/pax) and sell beers and bottles of water. The negative aspects to consider if you decide to stay in Bambua: the internet only works close to the kitchen and they have lovely animals but they can be quiet noisy over night (rooster and cats).
