Right next to Yala Safari park and the Beach. Lovely views and pool. Rooms were lovely the bed and furniture were comfortable. Staff were very nice and accommodating and ensured the best possible stay going above and beyond, speaking fluently in English and Sinhala. If you’re lucky elephants sometimes wander near the hotel too. 10/10

DO NOT STAY HERE. This is not a four star hotel. However they charge that way. Our room was filthy when we checked in. It did not looked like it had been cleaned in over a month. No hot water in main shower head. Electricity went out in middle of the night. Blinds broke and fell from wall leaving dust and dead bugs everywhere. The pictures told a story of a beautiful resort. It is no longer that. I have never written a bad review before. When we complained to the GM on departure (after telling staff of issues throughout stay) he was rude and told us we should have complained earlier. The Sri Lankan people are beautiful, this man was not. There is an advertised spa service that does not exist. The staff also did not honor the ******* Gold Status deal we signed up for. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

Stayed here 2 nights. Loved the tranquillity of this place. Basically had it to our selves. Accommodation was clean and good. Right on the beach. Food nice amd more than ample . We got to release a 1 day old Turtle back into the water. Saw where it hatched. Saw another Tortoise. Had an Elephant run through the property. Not lacking in wild life. Staff were all lovely and accommodating.

Worst hotel I have stayed in my life. The shower was barely working, the place was dirty and smelled bad. If it wasn’t for the fact that my boyfriend and I arrived super late, we would have never stayed even one night there! I don’t recommend at all

Best Beachfront Experience with a Bonfire Night! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Laya Safari gave us the perfect beachfront getaway! The Sea View Deluxe Room was beautiful, offering an amazing view of the ocean. The adventure activities were thrilling—we loved horseback riding on the beach at sunset and the ATV off-road ride. The safari experience was also incredible, and the hotel arranged a special 5 AM breakfast for us before we left. A huge shoutout to GM Wasantha, who made our nights extra special by arranging a bonfire on the beach. It was such a fun experience!
