We had an amazing time here. It was off the Camino path, but the owner, Gustavo, came to get us in town. The house was impressive and our lodging was modern, and upscale, yet still with a country vibe. Excellent dinner and breakfast. There were sheep, horses and two sweet dogs on the property. So far, this has been our best stay on the Camino! Do not hesitate to book here!

Staff were very pleasant. The owner collected us from Palas de Rei.
Our room was in a renovated out building and was very clean.
We enjoyed dinner there that night. The menu was somewhat lacking in choice but the food was very tasty.
Breakfast was served in another outbuilding the next morning.

Gustavo’s greeting and introduction to this enchanting escape from our time, is an introduction to the charm and grace of the Pazo. Claudio the rooster, the two puppies, the goats, horses, and lambs add to the charm. The exquisite food, conversation and the serene atmosphere make this a must stay on the El Camino or otherwise. A good guitar, and a sound proof room in which to play it, would ensure a place on this Pelegrino’s all life list.

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. My room was palatial with a very nice bathroom. Breakfast and dinner meals were excellent and incorporated local foods. The eggs from their farm were especially delicious. If you enjoy animals there were sweet friendly dogs who loved to have their ears scratched.

The entire experience was remarkable: The staff was kind, welcoming and accommodating. The quarters and common spaces were tidy and stunning in terms of decor and comfort. The meals were deliciously memorable and I slept like a baby. 100/10

Stayed here after Day 2 of our Camino walk with 9 others. They picked us up from the city center despite our Camino tour company arranging this. Thus began our truly special afternoon, evening and morning sendoff. My daughter and I stayed in one of the former horse stalls that has been beautifully transformed into a comfy room and en suite. The property contains several out buildings including a salon (where we had an amazing buffet breakfast), a chapel, and several outdoor seating areas. We met were warmly greeted by the proprietors and their two friendly dogs (who love belly rubs). The family style dinner was delicious with multiple choices. The main building has a fitness area, a sauna, and a theater room. My daughter enjoyed staying up late and watching Harry Potter. I enjoyed the warm cottage and comfy bed. Would definitely stay again!

Finished day two of our walk on The Camino and arrived after a long 15 mile journey. As we walked into the beautiful reception area we were met with a warm aroma that was captivating and uplifting after a long day on the Camino. Our host and fellow attendants were immediately helpful at checking all of us ladies into the hotel. Our rooms were out of a movie set. The furnishings were a unique blend of Spanish and middle eastern design. The bed was really comfy and the bath tub with the jetted tub was divine. The dinner was sumptuous and hearty with a number of wonderful entrees. The wine was lovely and the selection of desserts was delicious. We spent a leisurely time over dinner and never felt rushed. A beautiful babbling brook outside our perfect window seat added to the cozy atmosphere. Sleep came easy. Breakfast was wonderful and the freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious. Our stay here was the highlight of our trip that felt extremely magical. We all agreed that we wish we could stay indefinitely. The sweet dogs, the baby goats and the horses just added to an already amazing destination!! I can not imagine a better place to stay.

Staff was very friendly. Hotel is a taxi ride from the main road, making it challenging to go to town if you don't have a car.
