Nagri Resort

You go to this resort only if you are looking for: 1. Huge spiders in the room. 2. Rude staff. 3. Bad breakfast. Even basic items like Juice, cornflakes/milk missing from breakfast. BTW, they serve breakfast only after 9.30 am. 4. Even worse dinner. Eat whatever resort prepares (which is tasteless), you don't have a choice. You can not order from the menu. 5. Pay for even asking for empty plates, as they will charge if you ask for empty plates to eat food got from outside. 6. Walk for at-least 1 km on a hilly road to get to nearest shop to buy anything. 7. To pay GST if you book directly with them. I booked directly and a rate was settled. They never mentioned that GST is not included in the agreed rate as is the case with all online bookings. At the time of checkout, they charged me GST separately. On top of it, they will not give you GST tax receipt on the spot. I got it after 7 days with 3-4 phone call reminders. 8. Very small park. If they call it resort, it needs to have reasonable size open area for kids to play. 9. No assistance at the gate. Evenings they close the gate and one has to get out of the car to open the gate for entry/exit himself. Overall, a very bad experience. Will never repeat them again.

It was a family trip with kids. The property is hardly 5 mins drive from main market but still isolated and peaceful. The room size is bigger then the standard, clean and well maintained. Each room is not garden facing, but most of them are. Garden facing room, kids can plan outside and you can quietly sit in the private sit out:) we did kids camping within the resort. Important points: 1) Food is delicious and feels like home cooked. Cook is happy to prepare as per kids requirements. 2) Quite place, ideal to have some family time and me time. 3) View from the property is very nice. On clear days, you will see snow covered mountains. 4) Decent size property, not very big but not small either. 5) Good roads throughout. Overall we have a very good Stay and would love to visit again. Special thanks to Amit and his team for amazing hospitality. Don't miss to visit Clify Cafe, 20 mins drive from the property. Atul

Amazing serene place tucked in the lap of nature. Very close to palampur and yet not crowded giving you that difficult balance of amenities and tranquility. Amit was a graceful host and took care of all need s big and small. The rooms were lovely equipped with amenities like heating blankets and dual modes a/c Spacious and well kept property with ample sitting Options. Would definitely recommend this place

This is the most stunning and comfortable place to be at. No matter how many days your stay here, it will never be enough... This property fits the requirements of tourists going to relax in the lap of mountains... The rooms are extremely well maintained. Clean, spacious and offers an amazing view! The staff is extremely caring and friendly. Mr. Amit, the Manager of the resort is a gem of a person and will do his best to make ur stay comfortable at the resort! I Would definitely recommend this place!!!

Just up-to the mark Although this property is nicely located in rural Palampur but lacks location on Google businesses Amit the manager a decent fellow but management doesn't stick to commitments Palampur has number of excellent options

Spent three nights in Nagri Resort Palampur with a group of friends. Very nice layout of the property with cottage time rooms spread across landscaped garden. The main building houses a kitchen and dining room on the top with a verandah overlooking the Dhauladhar range and shivalik. The rooms were we stayed were big enough to accommodate our needs. The person manning the property called Amit was a nice person and so was the chef. However the quality of food and quantity was not upto any standard. There is a huge scope of improvement in this department and I am sure they will soon work on their weakness. While the quality can still be upgraded with a bit of guidance and input from the guests, the quantity had a lot to desire. Infact more clarity on the size of the portion would help the guest order appropriately. Rest all very nice. Breakfast spread had mostly fresh fruits, milk-cornflakes, eggs to order, poha and Alu parathas. The owner should increase the manpower I personally felt. It was too much of running around by one person from kitchen to upstairs dining although a third person had appeared in between for a short while to assist Amit.
