I stayed in room 206, Business Class type for six days (check in January 05, check out January 11, 2025. So my review is specific to that room only. I divide my review into several parts:
Location
- The location of this hotel is quite strategic because it is a little outside of Jl. Malioboro which is the main tourist attraction. From the hotel to Jl. Malioboro it is only 10-15 minutes walk. If you are lazy to walk/afraid of getting lost, you can order Gojek/Grab. There are also tricycles or horse-drawn carriages around.
- The hotel is on the side of the road, so it is easy to find.
- Near the hotel, there is a mosque. For Muslims, this can be an added value.
- There are food stalls, ole-ole shops and laundry around.
- Minus point for those who bring vehicles, there is only a limited motorbike parking.
- Overall, the surrounding area is quite safe.
Room
- For the Business Class type, it is quite comfortable for an individual and the price is very cheap.
- Although small in size, it is still spacious enough for Muslims to pray. The direction of Qibla is also shown.
- In the room there is toothpaste (in Indonesian, toothpaste), toothbrush (or toothbrush), towels, and 550ml drinking water. The room is cleaned every day and all equipment such as toothbrush, toothpaste, towels and drinking water are changed every day.
- Minus point, this room does not have a window. For me there is no issue, but there may be a factor in the window so I also mentioned it here.
- Another minus point, the shower water flow is quite slow.
- In the room there is an android TV that can access various entertainment such as Netflix and YouTube. But access is using your own account.
- Fast and stable WiFi.
- The entire hotel is very fragrant.
- The hotel staff is friendly and helpful.
Overall, the experience of staying at this hotel is very good. If I come to Yogyakarta in the future, I will still choose this hotel.
