Pakruojis Manor Hotel Miller's House

We spent one night here during their Christmas festival. The room was small, run down and felt cheap (despite being expensive). The room was so small that the bathroom door only opened a third of the way before hitting the bed. The beds were tiny, and very worn out. Lumpy, hard and uncomfortable. There was no hand soap at all. The shower was a raised platform, with a cheap, flimsy curtain that ran around 2 sides, with a huge gap above the floor. The shower wand was fixed less than 2m up making it near impossible to get water above shoulder height without effort. The wifi did work ok. Most staff spoke little to no English. Overall, not a good experience.

My tour group and I stayed here for just one night, and our only regret is that we didn't stay for longer. We were given a warm welcome by the reception staff, who were very helpful throughout our stay. The only negative was that the welcome drink we were offered was alcoholic and so I had to politely decline. The hotel itself was beautiful. I could have spent hours just looking at the pictures on the walls throughout the building, and the ornaments and other curiosities in the reception area. My roommate and I were in room 16, which I'm guessing was intended for families with young children. It was like a mini apartment, with a double bed and a single in the main area, a separate twin room, and a shared bathroom. All sections of the room were clean, and the beds were comfortable.
