Drift Off Grid Luxury Eco Glamping

We had the most amazing stay at drift off grid. The place was even more beautiful than I remember from the ******* photos. Stunning views, extremely comfy bed, gorgeous bathroom and the hospitable touches from our hosts Jana and Drew were lovely. Our favorite accommodation in New Zealand by far!

A magical place This place was magical! The sweet couple that own this place have thought of everything and were so helpful! Stay at least 3 nights, seriously. We wished we had booked more nights. My boyfriend chose to propose on the patio here because the setting was so memorable! Also, the electric buggy was super fun to drive around to the beach!

Excellent place to stay in Golden Bay. Jana and Drew are wonderful hosts and made our stay perfect. Anything we needed—they were there in a flash. The tent was wonderful and had everything—a grill, comfortable bed, nice compact kitchen area, couch for lounging, a deck for hanging out outside, and the perfect sunset view. It doesn’t get any better than soaking in the outdoor tubs with a glass of wine watching the sunset. The golf carts was useful for going to Tata beach and getting to the parking area. There is plenty to do in Golden Bay. We even had visitors—a weka and chick came by to say hello. Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed staying at Drift Off The Grid.

Escape! With a partner burning the candle both ends ,a place within the Nelson area , to truly loosen her life up for her ,in luxury ,proved more challenging than anticipated. Drift Off Grid was to be the gem for such a surreal experience . Luxury comfort throughout the meticulous modern design . Kicking off with your own private electric buggy to drive to your palace of a tent ,to find your exclusive privacy over looking Ta Ta bay to the mountains beyond . Sunrise & sunset views over the ocean from a king bed dressed in luscious linen. Impeccable communication from the hosts.The list just goes on. These guys have found a regular place in our diary!

Woahhh what a weekend! I read about this stunning place earlier in the year in a Stuff news article and thought I HAVE TO GO THERE. My sweet man booked us in for my bday weekend and it did not disappoint. Drew and Jana have done the most incredible job with building these luxury glamping tents. They make you feel really special & the decor is so restful and tasteful. It’s incredible peaceful and comfortable - the bed is like sleeping in a cloud (if I knew what that felt like!). The bird song is like nothing I’ve heard in my life, the most beautiful way to wake up. And the kea family were so entertaining! They readily catered for my vegan diet. The baths were amazing. The views unreal! All this private gorgeousness is just two hours drive from our home. We really enjoyed our walk to Wainui falls and swimming at the “ok to go sans clothing” part of Wainui beach. We have decided to go back again to celebrate our birthdays and may even make it an annual thing. Thank you so very much for being amazing hosts Drew & Jana. You’ve created a piece of paradise!

This place is out-of-this-world cool and fun. I’m 71 and it is one of the most interesting and beautiful places I have ever stayed. And the hosts are great!
