We stayed in Treetops which has stunning views, the apartment has everything you can wish for, nothing has been missed. Helen was very helpful throughout, from booking (book direct) to our departure. Paihia is lovely and we were able to walk to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds.

What a fantastic little find. Clean, beautiful views and all the amenities you need. The owners were lovely and very welcoming. It’s also very close to all the excursions and only a ferry away from the beautiful island of Russel I would highly recommend.

We stayed 4 nights in the Treetops chalet. What a spectacular accommodation. The attention to detail throughout, the comfort, the cleanliness, the well stocked kitchen, the immaculate landscaping. This is a home, not a rental! Everything has been so well thought out. The view of the Bay from the balcony, as well as from every spot in the chalet, is beautiful. Even though it’s only a very short walk to the town centre, it’s very quiet here. Having an on site guest laundry with washing powder was much appreciated. The only comments of things to know is that the parking area is a bit tight if you have a large vehicle and there are 32 stairs from the parking area to the Treetops. I believe there are 18 stairs to the Palms chalet and no stairs at all to the Suite apartment. We loved our stay here and we could easily have stayed a month!

A spectacular stay
We stayed 4 nights in the Treetops Chalet. Absolutely gorgeous, well stocked with linens, kitchen utensils, pots etc, a big bathroom with shower and separate jet tub. The king sized bed was very comfortable. Every morning, every meal, every evening we sat and watched the beautiful Bay. Great location, great hosts, a wonderful stay.

We loved The Palms in Abri Apts. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in Paihia despite the inclement weather. The accommodation was comfortable, very clean and functional. The effective air con and dishwasher were a bonus as other “highly rated” places we stayed in on this trip seem to be missing both. Helen was very helpful and particularly when we ran into a medical issue at a weekend and she couldn’t have been kinder. The Palms has everything you need for a very comfortable stay in Paihia and within a 2 min walk to local restaurants and cafes. Would highly recommend and would return.

Just stayed for 2 nights in the 1 bedroomed suite . Everything you need, lovely cosy bed , separate lounge area , outside balcony with BBQ . Exceptionally, Clean. The views over the Bay of Islands are stunning. 10 minute walk into town with supermarket, lots of eateries & various boat trips . Definitely recommend.
