We had such a wonderful time during our stay at Te Tiriti Motel. We received excellent service, especially from the manager, Tash, who was so friendly and even waited for us when we checked in late in the afternoon. The room we stayed in was very clean and cozy, and the location was perfect—close to shops and restaurants. The kids especially enjoyed the outdoor pool! We will definitely be back, and we highly recommend Te Tiriti Motel to others. Erika from Auckland NZ

the accomodation is no more than a regular budget motel clean and quite spacious but our unit was bordering the main road whose heavy traffic noise never stops even late in the night colors, furnitures and details return an impression of modest conditions far from the feeling we had from the published pictures personell helped us to solve a problem we had with our reservation

Had a faulty power switch which started to smoke and flame had it done it in the night may have been interesting when charging wifes hearing aides.
Also noticed that the smoke dedector was missing and an empty bracket on the wall
Didnt seem to concern when we told them as it was the morning we where booking out
They also didnt answer the emergency number i rang twice as i was mot sure if there was a potential fire still behind the wall

The staff at the Te Tiriti Motel were extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean and well equipped with aircon, kettle, microwave, toaster, cutlery and dishes, tea and coffee, hairdryer, shampoo, liquid soap, etc. The TV and TV box had a USB-A connector which was super handy for charging our mobile phones. The bed was huge and very comfy. It was really great that there was a washing machine and dryer available. We also used the nice pool in the back yard. The motel is not far from Woolworths, the beach and the Waitangi Treaty Grounds.

We stayed 4 nights and loved it! Well the kids played in the pool every day, the rooms are a great size, and staff are very friendly. Having the supermarket right next door made meals super easy. Would definitely stay here again.
