Attended the Paducah Quilt show and our stay was very pleasant. Nicely appointed rooms, great facilities and a nice breakfast. All very good and waste good fit for the quilt show. Highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I came to town to visit his family and chose this classy bed and breakfast first of all because the prices were very fair and the room details were interesting. I have a love for history and the place is very fancy, I love fancy! And fair price! Count me in!!!!!! Upon entering I was greeted by a charming kind young lady who was very helpful and the energy was great! She made me feel comfortable instantly and I new I would love my stay. The room was beautiful clean and had full size complementary soaps and shampoos if needed. The bed was soft and comfortable and I appreciate the free Netflix and not having to log in. Free coffee was hot and ready again with excellent service, the owner saw us looking at things and shared with us his journey and the history he was also very welcoming and I felt at home. I will stay here every time we come to see the family. Thank you for your great hospitality ❤️

Seeing and staying in a historical place Was awesome! I’m glad they kept the style and had information to learn history . We loved staying here . I would go back just for the go back in time experience. The tub was inviting .

I wish I had spent even one minute to look at reviews of this hotel online, as you can see there are plenty negative. If I could give this hotel zero stars I would. First of all this isn't a hotel, it's a very very old guesthouse that's next to the house in the photos (no you don't actually stay at the house that's in the photos!). And the woman running it is one of the rudest customer service providers I've ever encountered. I genuinely didn't feel safe the entire time I stayed there and caught her multiple times creeping around and peeking at me and my young daughter around the corner or hiding behind curtains to watch us. The place was very old and the most uncomfortable beds of all time. I don't need luxury but when you pay almost $200 for a night you expect towels that don't have holes and beds that aren't moldy and creaky and mattresses that have springs coming through them. The shared kitchen was disgusting and the smell of the whole place was too much. You can hear the people in the next room talking the entire time and there was a homeless man sleeping in his car outside. On top of that, the lady proceeded to attempt to CHARGE my card over and over again claiming I hadn't paid! It was a nightmare. Trust me, read the other reviews and do not stay there.

This is our interaction with the owner. Absolutely do not bring up politics. In a business you have people from all sides of politics. After checking in we were concerned that we made the wrong choice in staying with you. Last year we stayed and loved it. You took that feeling away as soon as you brought up the Jan 6 mess at the State Capitol and people in jail or prison shouldn't be out. Why was it even brought up? No one was talking that. We were just getting acquainted with you. Your daughter was lovely. She was friendly and helpful. But then you came out and it got ugly. Not everyone agrees in what you do therefore restrain from taking about politics ever. Religion is the same. Not sure we will be coming back and the people we have told about staying with you will go on our recommendations. Last year was our first experience at a BnB and it was amazing. Unfortunately after this year not at all. Very disappointed in your conversation as we know the lady in the dining room from Germany was too as she said as she walked away, let's not go there when you started up on politics again. My husband told you the same thing. The other disappointment was the towels in the room we had. None were there and we had to find them in the hallway in a cabinet. Expecting soft luxurious ones from a BnB was not what we got. Old ratty ones. Rough and everything was mismatched and old. Staying in the guest house last year was an amazing experience. Everything was wonderful. I hope you change your way when it comes to how you talk to people paying to stay at your BnB and paying good money.

They overcharged me for a prepaid nonrefundable reservation and then refused to cancel, even though I asked to cancel it a few minutes later when I noticed the extra charge. Was told by reservation company that if I stay there I have to pay the extra processing fee charge. Still fighting to get my money back. It's really hard to believe the positive reviews are legitimate. Not trustworthy at all. Be careful.

Historically-pedigreed charming house with period or original furnishings and decor throughout, including quilts - a Kentucky trademark Bedroom was well-appointed, including a big screen TV, comfortable bedding and period furnishings. The bathroom however was totally updated and modernized with amenities The house is professionally managed by Lindsey, whose goal was to make sure we had an excellent experience and prepare breakfast (fee) everyday Any problems were immediately taken care of by her and we were even provided with a portable heater to augment the house heating on a chilly night Security was paramount with very controlled access to house and room A lovely stay for my birthday trip!

It reminded us of the movie Psycho. The innkeeper was barefoot in a house dress. Her arm was bandaged so there was no coffee/tea or any sort of breakfast. The Inn needed vacuuming and the carpets had seen better days. We had reserved for 2 nights but left after one night and forfeited the other night. I didn’t take a shower!

Worse experience we’ve had in years of travel. Overpriced. Spider webs greet you at the dirty front porch. Bed sinks on one side, mold in the bathroom, toenails & crumbs on the carpet, shower curtain was installed incorrectly and fell on my husband, breakfast is an extra $15 charge per person (we declined), no filters, creamors or sugar for the coffee, which you have to make yourself, curtains in the room are thin allowing a lot of light in during the night, and if someone is staying upstairs you hear their every move and parking is across the street on property not owned by the B&B. They get your payment then refuse refund. Sad little place, and it is not historical, but next door might be.
