We stayed at the Respite twice in May during a round trip from North Carolina to Kansas City. What a hidden gem. The room was very comfortable and cozy. The property is outstanding. The Respite will be our go to from now on. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Beautiful building with a very interesting history. The Owner was wonderful and fun to talk with. Very close to the National Quilt Museum which is why we chose to stay there. Hope to go back someday soon.

We decided at the last minute to book our stay here instead of the larger name hotels along our road trip. So glad we did! The room was much larger, quiet, clean and so comfortable. We enjoyed a nice breakfast the next morning. Such an enjoyable stay, thank you!
