We were lucky enough to get the harbour view room, absolutely breathtaking view 😍 room could do with a few touch ups here and there (mainly bathroom) but overall we were very very happy and thought it was good value for money. The staff were very friendly, we ate in the restaurant for our evening meal which was lovely and well priced. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was again lovely.

Room was large and comfortable (although floors were creaky). It’s an old property so always a few maintenance jobs evident.
Location is excellent next to the harbour. Staff pretty good, sometimes a bit busy to give full attention.
Breakfast was very good.

From arrival to exit, it was perfect. George welcomed us with a smile, Jess & Ellie were attentive, Laura & Kim served us our delicious food served by Dragos! Thank you team!

We have just came back from a lovely stay at this hotel. The lady at check in was so welcoming and friendly. We had a lovely room with harbour view, the hotel made our stay extra special for our anniversary. The restaurant food was good quality as well. We would highly recommend this hotel and definitely come back one day! Thank you

Beautiful harbourside setting with a duel aspect room. Spotless and comfortable, with great coffee and lush Land and Water products. Staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Amy who arranged a late check out for us, which made our visit even more easy and comfortable. The breakfast menu was generous and catered for vegetarians well. We also ate an evening meal at the restaurant which was excellent.

Booked by tour company (I'll review separately) ... 4 nights to walk sections of South Coastal Trail... Extremely, extremely poor sound protection from non associated pub and/or the drinking crowd in the street... this old hotel extends several buildings up the street on the upper level...ours was room #18... 3 nights of loud performing artists...front desk unattended after 9:30

Great location and included breakfast. Overall cleanliness of room wasn’t up to scratch. Dust throughout room, extractor fan in bathroom spitting out dust, shower could have been cleaner and worked intermittently.

Lovely, quaint hotel accommodation. Very clean & good provisions of coffee, tea, hot chocolate & biscuits. Friendly staff. Large room was very nice, comfy bed. Would be nice to have a power point in the bathroom. Can be a bit noisy on Fri/Sat nights but it didn’t keep us awake. We stayed in the last room at the very top so lots of stairs, doors & passage ways to our room! Kept us fit but wouldn’t advise if you are over 60! Overall an enjoyable stay 😃

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the bathroom was a good size and well laid out, and the breakfast was excellent. Our only complaint was that the room was small and stuffy. It was a very hot day, in fairness, and a fan had been provided, but even so, it did feel clammy.
