Woodlands Country House

Lovely stay at Lovat holiday parks in Padstow in May 2022. The lodge was only a year old and was well equipped. The location was really good too. The staff, especially Jeanie and Lauren, deserve a special mention as they are an absolute credit to the organisation. Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to provide excellent service with a smile.

The site welcomes dogs but not all owners look after their pooches. Constant barking was a problem, coupled with the noise of car tyres on gravel made for a noisy stay.

We have just returned from a perfect week in Padstow. The accommodation was spotless & had everything we needed. The site was also immaculate and so well kept. 5 minutes drive into Padstow and so close to lots of beaches meant that it was a perfect location for us and our two year old. We dined in Craftworks a few times, had the most relaxed atmosphere and the staff were excellent. Overall all the staff we encountered were so lovely, from reception to groundskeepers everyone was so welcoming. We cannot wait to come back! Hopefully the sunshine returns with us again next time

I have never visited a better, cleaner, friendlier site than this one. I have been to many sites and this one was outstanding. My accommodation was spotless and I am very fussy! If you are considering going here then look no further. You won’t be disappointed. They have thought of everything to make your stay so comfortable. Thank you to all the team for a wonderful break.

Whilst we did not stay in one of the sites' own 'lodges', we found both the location and staff, Jeanie in particular, to be excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. There were so many hidden extras to the site, from sensory gardens to cleaning stations for your wetsuits and body boards. Dogs, in particular, are very welcome and well catered for. They even have their own agility area. Having visited this area, off and on, for over 60 odd years, I have to say that this 'village' is one of the best. I, with my friends and family, will be back.

This was our 4th visit to the Padstow park, and yet again, it didn't disappoint. It's so clean, well laid out, and the lodges very well appointed. We took up one of their offers last minute, so super value for money! It's well worth keeping an eye out. It was beautifully peaceful. We love to sit out on the decking balcony reading, enjoying an alfresco meal, and just chilling with a glass of wine listening to the birds. We slept so well as the bed was super comfy & the shower was great. It really is like home from home experience & I can't recommend the park and lodges highly enough. We stayed in a two-bed executive lodge, which felt so roomy and allowed us to invite our daughters to join us for dinner one evening & sleepover. They had their own Jack & Jill bathroom, so worked out so well.
