Absolutely excellent! All the staff were fantastic, we had a free upgrade and the room was beautiful with free prosecco too. Everything you needed in the room and more, such nice touches. The breakfast as you can see by my picture was absolutely delicious and the evening meal too, even booking this as a treat for my daughter. We didn't really venture into the town as we enjoyed the hotel so much we chilled in the room and then enjoyed our evening meal, absolutely classic stay and one of the best hotels we've stayed in, thank you

Great staff, good facilities with thoughtful extras like guest kitchen for ice and water and roof terrace if sunny. The town is grotty but nice towns nearby - Clitheroe ( shopping and castle ) Whaley ( pubs, cafe and lovely Abbey grounds ) Mitton ( pub on river with beautiful outside seating )

Absolutely lovely hotel! We received a complimentary room upgrade which was a lovely surprise. The room had so many extra touches it was beautiful! The bed was so comfy, the shower was excellent and the little home made flapjack by the bed... wow I need that recipe! Every single member of staff we spoke to was so polite and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about this hotel. We had such a lovely night there and would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you x

This Hotel is really lovely in every sense of the word. From quirky decor to luxury bedding and toiletries to the help yourself breakfast items in the shared kitchen which had an ice machine, everything was second to none. Every member of staff are a total asset to the hotel and were always friendly, helpful and chatty. We will definitely be back again very soon.

The hotel was very clean and tidy and all staff were very helpful. The food was some of the best I have eaten out. The grab and go kitchen was a great bonus. Our room was upgraded to a signature room The Gawthorpe which was fabulous. Keep up the good work and we will be back.

We’ve had a lovely stay. You have a lovely quaint very well looked after friendly hotel. Staff were also very helpful and friendly. Room was small but fab and big enough for us. Many little touches gone into making the stay special but I should leave that up to other guests to find in room and about the hotel. The local area was nice for some short walks and able to venture out to clitheroe and surrounding areas. Thanks for the lovely hospitality

I had a lovely stay at the Lawrence, beautiful old grade 2 listed building in a beautiful town. Every staff member I spoke to was friendly and helpful, my snug room was plenty spacious for me and would have easily been perfect for 2 people, The ensuite was lovely with a great shower. Bed was comfy with great pillows and all the small touches were great such as a jar of sweets and a jar of flapjack, kettle, Nespresso machine and bottle of water. My room had an iron and board, hairdryer, fan and plenty of closet space. I had a full English breakfast that was cooked amazingly, the food tasted so fresh and the dining room was beautiful. I honestly have no complaints at all of my stay. My daughter lives in the town and I’d booked the room as a treat to give me my own space while I visited. I will be staying again!

Lovely boutique hotel with friendly staff, tastefully decorated rooms. We were lucky enough to be up-graded and given a large bedroom with small seating area. Small touches like small jar of sweets and home baked flapjack bites in the room. Outdoor terrace to relax on with a drink and small kitchenette for patrons to use if needed. Cooked breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Stopped over here on our way to Scotland and would highly recommend.
