Nota-se a dedicação e o empenho que colocam em tudo que fazem e têm sempre palavras bonitas e sentidas para dar e para encontrar as melhores soluções. A Equipa do Solar, é composta por pessoas incríveis, acessíveis e humanas, algo cada vez mais difícil de encontrar. Tudo é pensado ao detalhe até o logótipo inspirado no vitral da mansão. Têm sempre uma boa surpresa, um miminho... O espaço é tremendamente versátil, com sol ou chuva, é sempre possível encontrar uma solução para ser Feliz. Passar por este Solar é como receber um enorme abraço caloroso...

This place is amazing. The home and grounds are beautiful and Iva the host welcomes you like family. Every detail is thought of in advance and taken care of. The house is spacious, pristine and extremely well stocked. Iva is kind and friendly and just a lovely, wonderful person. I cannot recommend this house highly enough.

Solar Egas Moniz is a wonderful property surpassed in beauty only by it's owner Iva! She has an amazing spirit and character that resonates throughout her home! There is space galore! It is clean, neat, and very well maintained! I would recommend staying here to anyone! 5 stars are not enough to rate Solar Egas Moniz!

Best Hospitality in Portugal. Charming, historic Home/Hotel. Hostess's efforts to assure your comfort are beyond any experience. Located is a small village, 5 minute drive to a train station with quick access to Porto or points East. We had dinner prepared for our group the first night by the hostess and staff and I highly recommend guests do the same. It was a wonderful experience to learn the history of the property and it's surroundings.

I wish we could’ve stayed a few more days at this beautiful home. The combination of old world charm with modern conveniences is perfect. Our host and owner, Iva, was wonderful and as thoughtful as can be. She goes out of her way to make you feel at home. Fresh bread awaited us by the front door every morning too! Don’t hesitate to stay here. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

Beautiful home, decor, & grounds. Impeccable attention to every detail from comfortable living areas to time spent welcoming & engaging us in conversation. Eva & Natalia attended to our specific needs throughout our stay. Charming & engaging, Eva made us feel like we were a part of her family's history. You walk away with a feeling like you were meant to find this place & these people.🤗

Wonderful property that was incredibly well stocked. They thought of everything and even stocked some food for us to enjoy. Fresh bread was also delivered every morning! We were a group of 10 friends and there was plenty of space, we only used 6 out of 10 bedrooms and all were very clean and comfortable. Iva was a joy to work with! She welcomed us and explained everything, included tips for what to see and do. She even arranged a delicious dinner to be made for us one of our nights by the talented Natalia and made reservations for us at a great restaurant another night. Our entire group loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Iva is a ray of sunshine! I cannot recommend Solar Egas Moniz enough.

Wonderful just perfect Host and property are the best, Book and you will thank me for this review We had a party of 9 people and didn’t want to leave the house You can enjoy it for travel to Porto and for valley Douro And river We will definitely come again
