I recently stayed at MPT Amaltas, expecting a relaxing experience at a premium property, but what I got was nowhere near what a ₹7–7.5k/night resort should offer. We had requested an early check-in (which we knew depends on availability), but were made to wait till 1:45 PM, well after the 12 PM checkout time. What was most disappointing was the lack of effort from the staff — they just told us to wait till 2 PM with no intention to accommodate or even update us properly. The room had basic amenities, but nothing beyond that. Bed and mattress were average, and the overall comfort didn’t match the “4-star” tag. Food was a major letdown. Dinner had very limited options, and the taste was bland. Breakfast was worse — we reached at 9 AM, and not a single item was ready. Guests were standing in line waiting, and when food finally came, it was barely edible. The “buffet” felt like a joke. I asked for tea around midnight and was told the restaurant was shut. At this level, at least tea/coffee should be available round the clock — another example of how poorly the place is run. The staff seemed untrained and disinterested throughout the stay. No warmth, no effort to make guests feel welcome — just a cold, mechanical attitude. Honestly, I’ve had far better experiences at ₹1-1.5k rooms. MPT Amaltas charges like a premium property but offers poor food, weak service, and average comfort. For a state-run tourism property, this is extremely disappointing and reflects poorly on MP Tourism overall.

Dear Sir, This is in regard to my stay at the Amaltas Hotel for 4 nights in July recently when me and my wife visited Pachmarhi. I am a very happy and satisfied customer as a result of which I am writing this message. I would like to thank Ex senior manager Shri Yogesh Argal from the bottom of my heart as he set up our lodging, liaisoned with local staff to make sure we had the most comfortable stay possible, and was always available. I'd also equally like to thank manager Ms Jyoti jaiswal who made our trip great by always being available and eager to help in the formalities of booking and then later with everything. I also like to thank everyone who contributes to the smooth operation of Amaltas Hotel with special mention of Lakshmi Ahirwar head chef, as she is very efficient, humble and makes very tasty food. The staff was incredibly welcoming. The facility was immaculate and radiated lovely vintage charm. The food was wonderful and fresh. I want to emphasise once more how helpful Ms Jyoti Jaiswal and her team including Naziya maam were in making my stay enjoyable and ensuring that my wife and I had a great time. I had a great experience overall and will most likely visit Amaltas Hotel again. I also heartily endorse it to my friends. Regards Utkarsh Mishra

hey this side........ rachana I recently visited hotel AMALTAS...... I liked the behaviour of all the staff there but the manager is very rude, she talks very loudly with her guests and maybe she behaves like this with her hotel staff too......The windows of the hotel rooms are not netted and they do not always provide lunch and they are not able to provide room service also.

Bad experience aashi a. family with 3 kids Don’t know where to start. Our booking was for 10-12 May and on 08th May the tension between the India and Pak rose and our flights from Delhi got cancelled. We were a group of 6 adults who were all government officials and our movement was also restricted. We requested the property to give us a refund or reschedule and they denied and said “if flights are cancelled, you come from train”. We would not have asked for refund if the circumstances were normal but in war-like situations the property managers showed very insensitive attitude. Somehow we managed to reach and when asked for lunch the property manager was very rude and blatantly said people can’t afford three time meals at the property so we only offer breakfast and dinner. The booking said we can opt for breakfast and lunch/dinner. We ordered a la carte and had lunch. Finally, at night when we we asked what’s the latest we can order room service, they said it’s 10 PM only. The property is run by all female staff but it felt like a military camp as the timings for ordering was very restricted. Breakfast was strictly served between 8-10 am and dinner between 8-10 pm. When we checked out, we reached the dining room at sharp 08 am and the breakfast wasn’t ready. Double standards. We went to relax and enjoy the views of Pachmarhi but this felt like a forced vacation cum camp for adults. our rooms for which the property manager had earlier denied. The housekeeping service was also very slow. Property is good, however bedsheet was not clean, blanket was smelling. Food was average. All the attractions near by hotel, hotel staff was polite but careless. However i was happy to know that hotel was totally managed by women's. Travel Month: May 2025 Room: A/c Room

Excellent experience. The staff was very nice. Stayed there for one night. Dinner was very tasty. And breakfast was also so tasty. The best thing in the resort was that it was fully female staff only.
