Ich habe schon viele schöne Hotels besucht auch 5 Sterne Hotels aber das Light House toppt alles!!! Sensationell jedes Detail ist perfekt. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment wohl gefühlt. Wenn wir gewusst hätten was uns erwartet wären wir noch ein paar Tage länger geblieben. Ich habe dort meinen Geburtstag gefeiert. Unglaublich was Darrol, Hendrik und das ganze Team für mich vorbereitet haben. Ich werde diesen Geburtstag nie vergessen!!! Danke, danke, danke ihr seid wunderbar!!!

Returned to this guesthouse that could very well be rated a 7* - our previous exposure was so profound that we instinctively considered this remarkable guesthouse as an only choice - the warm nature of the general manager: Darrol and his true professionalism remains an outstanding feature of the experience - staff at this guesthouse has been trained to the highest standards and exceed all other 5* properties - the attention to detail and in particular the presentation of meal items remains a highlight - the views are picturesque, no matter the choice of room allocation - you are deprived, if you have not yet experienced the Lighthouse Boutique Suites for at least 3 nights.

We were in the Light House for the second time. From arrival to departure, it was a very special experience. Mika is incredible. His announcement: "Sir, it is not allowed", by which he means that all the activities the guest wanted to do are his area. From luggage to re-parking the car, which is parked in the direction of travel the next morning, to the selection at breakfast, everything you want is brought, always fresh, homemade if possible. The rooms are absolutely top-notch, we even got an upgrade. We are always particularly pleased when the towels are fresh and the beds made up in the evening. The pool is actually around 22 m long and 7.5 m wide, so you can swim laps wonderfully. It was the largest pool on our trip. We always particularly enjoy the evening conversations with Hendrik and Darrol, so we learn things about South Africa on all levels that are not in any travel guide. And it remains the same: Hendik & Darrol's design ideas are amazing. I would recommend both of them to anyone who wants to renew their interior. Only the journey is a bit far. Take the opportunity to spend a few days in the Light House, if possible at least 3 nights, to experience the service, the ambience and everything around it. Only then will you know what service is, only then will you feel like you are in your own living room, only with world-class service. Also remember, everything is finite and who can say whether you will still be able to experience this uniqueness in 2028. Hendrik & Darrol, it was an honor for us to be able to be with you. It will only be over when we have been with you again. Anyone who has not experienced The Light House (TLH) is missing out on the unique opportunity to experience one of the best small hotels in the world by far. We had a fantastic stay at the Lighthouse! The most impressive thing was the very, very attentive service! Our room was large and always cleaned up. The breakfast delicious and if we had a wish, they made it happen. Fantastic!

We stayed at the Lighthouse from February 17th to February 24th. It was our first time at the Lighthouse and we absolutely loved it. We had a rental car and on arrival were greeted warmly in the driveway with a clear message, that guests are forbidden to carry luggage themselves. We immediately received a welcome drink on the terrace, followed by an excellent breakfast and felt at home right from the start. Our room was wonderful with a beautiful view to the sweeping mountains opposite. The service is unique, always friendly, always present and courteous, all wishes are tried to be fulfilled. For us, this was the best service we have ever experienced and we got around a lot. Breakfast on the terrace, no buffet breakfast, but breakfast with service and fresh fruits, freshly prepared egg dishes with the best bacon in the world, and everything else that belongs to a good breakfast. The garden area wonderfully maintained with the beautiful pool is perfect for relaxing. Wine, water and nuts are served by the pool. The whole property with the house is so tastefully furnished and coherent, the owners have invested a lot of time, work and heart and soul in it, it is beautiful to fall in love with. It is located in a quiet, very good residential area in Paarl. To sum up, we stayed in paradise for a week and we will definitely be back. Thanks to the entire Lighthouse team. There are certainly cheaper accommodations, but the Lighthouse is something special.

We had high expectations after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor and I must say the place is very special and service exceptional. However we found the room a bit small because of bulky and dated furniture. The bathroom however is large and has outstanding water pressure. Bed and bath linen are fabulous and the breakfast amazing. The attention to detail is fantastic and grounds and interiors immaculately maintained. It's however the team that are making the difference as they go above and beyond in providing memorable experiences. Small details such as making advance dinner reservations make all the difference. We found the host/GM however a bit aloof and not engaging (with us). A few suggestions: larger TV's, in-room aeroccino next to Nespresso machine, a corkscrew..., instead of 2 bottles of red wine in Mini Bar 1 red and 1 white and stop constantly wrapping and replacing the towels as its not environmental and user friendly! Better parking facilities would also be great. Last but not least, please make the place a little less formal!

Firstly a huge thank you to the staff for making our stay such a fantastic experience. Our taxi cancelled on our group last minute and the manager personally drove us to our appointment - that should give you an idea for the level of service that you will receive here. The attention to detail in the hotel is unlike anything I have experienced before, the decor, the garden, the presentation of the food it is just all around a perfect experience. I highly recommend the Light House Boutique Suites and we will certainly be coming back. Thank you team!

This is thee most EXQUISITE, yet TRENDY English Manson in Africa - everything about this guesthouse is UNIQUE - nothing is ordinary - guests are welcomed at their car and true butlar exposure is at the order of the day - staff here are all trained to serve royalty, yet in a manner that makes one feel EXTREMELY SPECIAL - the rooms are BREATHTAKING - the furniture peaces are all careflully sellected and great enthusiasm went into the positioning of each item - the breakfast is SIMPLY THE BEST - management team: Darrol and Hendrik are no ordinary guys, but 7* quality - Mika, our personal host was just great - his knowledge of the area and its offering impressed - this is a must visit for no less than 3 nights.

Outstanding accommodation, unbelievably special. Every last detail has been considered. Never experienced anything like this. Darrel and Hendrick were the most charming hosts. Welcoming and attentive Their staff went above and beyond what we could reasonably expect of them. This is a special place not to be missed.
