Sunis Efes Royal Palace Resort & Spa

We visited this hotel as a family of 5, Twin sons 15 years old and daughter age 10. We booked 2x double rooms and when we arrived we were told we were upgraded to a 2 bedroomed room with a living room, so we could all stay together. We were over the moon with this as we do usually like all been together in 1 room when going on holiday, as this is our FAMILY holiday. The room we stayed in was lovely and clean and was cleaned every day, the fridge with drinks in was a lovely touch and was filled up daily if used the day before. The pools were fantastic. I like to get up early and go to the pool side, put the towels down and I read my book until the rest of my family come down ready for breakfast but no matter what time of the day, there were always beds available. I ready on reviews about the loud music, yes if you sit at certain areas of the pool the music is very loud but they are areas were you can only just hear the music. Just pick a beds that aren't near the speakers!! The pool was very clean when we were there and they was plenty of room. The 2 main pools were a brilliant size and never felt cramped. The water slide pools were excellent too and always manned by lifeguards. The beach and the pier were the highlight of the holiday for our kids, been able to jump into the sea from the pier and see all the fish swimming round was just brilliant. They were plenty of bars to get drinks on during the day and a great addition was the fridge full of water. They was also a big fridge with bottle of soft drinks and cups so kids (and adults) could just go and help themselves instead of having to go a bar. My daughter loved this as she was making her own mixture of cocktails!! Food was outstanding too, lunch in the snack bar had plenty, burgers, chips, hotdogs, salad. They was also the outside restaurant (no swimwear) which also had plenty, hot food, lovely fresh salads, cheeses and desserts. Fabulous! Once the lunch snack bar stopped, the late afternoon snacks came out which were burgers, hotdogs, waffles, donuts and jacket potatoes. The food was constant and great quality. The restaurant on the evening was nice fresh food and plenty to choose from, no complains. Breakfast was the same, plenty to choose from and lovely quality. Another highlight for us was a patisserie, the staff were lovely and friendly, so many cake to choose from, my kids were in heaven when we visited!! Coffees, teas, cold drinks, ice cream. You could sit inside or out on the balcony. There is plenty of sitting areas for an evening, inside and out. On an evening we like to play a game of cards, pass the pigs or dobble and we were spoilt for choice of where to sit, comfy sitting inside and out. Plenty of bars to choose from! We had an excellent family holiday here and made some fabulous memories. We would definitely return.
