Conifers Guest House

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed to eat every morning because they have a great breakfast selection. The room was clean and in such a perfect place to visit the Oxford area from a close by bus stop. 100% would visit again, thank you again!

Very nicely appointed rooms with everything you need, spare pillows, hairdryer, tea and coffee, toiletries. Nice continental style breakfast. All spotlessly clean and very accommodating hosts. 10 minute walk into Headington with access to buses to city centre. Would also recommend the Adria Italian restaurant at the top of the road!

I required somewhere to stay that would be local to an early appointment that i had on Monday 13th November. Having searched local B&B's etc and checked out a number of reviews The Conifers Guest House appeared to fit the bill. The booking was through *********** and once confirmed i was also advised that my room on the day had been upgraded. The room was ground floor to rear of the main property namely Number 10. Unfortunately the room central heating did not work and hot water took an age to come through. The room upgrade was in fact what i would call a family room with a single and double bed plus a kitchenette so all in all large enough for a single person stay. The only heating i could find was that of a small oil filled radiator and took some hours to warm the room up. Unfortunately the toilet and shower cubicle room was very cold. The room overall requires updating at best but as a single man staying just one night it was just about tolerable. If this was a free upgrade it leaves me wondering what was i upgraded from ???

We stayed in what would appear to be a family room in the annexe to the rear rather than in the main building. It contained a small kitchenette area and table with four chairs. Nice firm mattress and comfortable pillows. Good sized shower / toilet space. Minor quibble is that the administration seems a little over the top.

Excellent stay at Conifers recently, by far the best in Headington having stayed in a few. I wish I had discovered it sooner. Exceptionally clean and tidy with great rooms and facilities. Room cleaned every day and towels refreshed. Didn’t see much of staff but they were very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend.

I stayed here for a few days with my elderly mother and they were very accommodating to her needs. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and clean, which is very important for her. The staff were lovely. Thank you very much

Easy to find, great location (only 15 min bus to the center with a bus stop just down the road) and parking. The room was simple but homely and spotlessly clean. All the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was nice enough in the morning - though only beans on toast or eggs were offered for cooked option. Continental was ok though. I came to the city for a hen do and the stay was adequate enough. I would deffinitly stay here again next time I’m in Oxford.

I stayed here for a short trip to Oxford in a single room. It was warm, clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and the bed was comfy, too. Would stay here again.
