It was already night when we arrived at the hotel in the small town. We were told that we needed to register with a local debit card. Fortunately, we asked the boss and he recorded our credit card and let us check in. The next day, we visited the University of Miami as planned.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I met the housekeeper who cleaned her. She was very polite and friendly. The staff had good service attitude. The dining environment for breakfast was good and the waffles were very delicious.

This hotel was terrible. I was given a dirty room at first. Had to change rooms. The bathroom was old, rusty. Beds were uncomfortable. Breakfast was a joke. There were maybe 6 cars in the parking lot, but the way there was any breakfast you would have thought the hotel was at capacity. 3 egg patties, no milk, fruit flies by fruit. No way will I ever stay here again. This should be a last resort hotel.

BED BUGS! My daughters were in bed on top of the bedding with their own blankets when one had a bug crawling on her...after a quick inspection she discovered there were several bugs on her and her sister and my husband found over 20 bugs just on the comforter of the bed. They quickly checked out at 11:30pm and bagged their personal items so they wouldn't track the bugs to the next hotel. The front desk staff gave them a refund and did not seem surprised when my husband confronted them about the infestation. DO NOT STAY HERE! Looking back at reviews we made a terrible choice and this seems to be an on going issue they have had for years.

Pool was closed "for maintenance." Breakfast buffet trays were empty the first morning. Otherwise a nice stay.
