SpringHill Suites Overland Park Leawood

First of all Anna, the front desk person was super nice, friendly and efficient, truly a credit to the company. Large rooms, comfortable beds and a clean and neat facility overall. My only complaint was the breakfast, it could have been better, but it filled the void so I was thankful for that. The area that the hotel is in is a quite almost country setting, to top that off less that a block away is a great brew pub, called Martin city Brewing, great beer and good food. there is a park nearby and grocery stores and restaurants galore close at hand. Overall a great stay.

While traveling across the country, we checked in late (after 10pm) on the 4th of July. Lamont was amazing! He was so friendly and patient, quickly getting us checked into a great room for the night! The rooms are unique but extremely comfortable at this location. The beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed the large shower stall, in-room fridge & microwave, and large closet area. These rooms have a large sofa that also has a trundle sleeper. The only drawbacks are the frosted glass sliding door on the bathroom (a lack of privacy in a room made to accommodate up to 6 people) and a single TV for the sitting area and sleeping area. We were only there for one night, so it was more than accommodating for our short stay. In addition to Lamont's excellent service, the breakfast put this stay over the top! The chicken sausage, egg, and gouda breakfast sandwiches are not to be missed! I added some amazing green salsa and it was my favorite hotel breakfast yet! In addition, they had fresh baked chocolate chip scones that were light and fluffy. Unique and delicious! Thank you, Springhill Suites team, for giving us an exceptional place to rest on our journey. You were all so friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend making this your vacation stop in Overland Park! (Although we did not get a chance to use them, we saw there was a great gym and pool, too! There is something for everyone here!)

We came in late and Lamonte (sp.?) at the front desk was professional and helpful. We needed and extra blanket and he got one from the laundry room. Thanks to all at Springhill Suites! We will come again when we plan our next Johnson County gathering.

First stay at this Marriott property and I will be back. Clean, big rooms. Really nice fitness center. Indoor pool. And within walking distance to a great pizza place. Staff was super friendly and said something to me every time I was coming or going. Wish I had this same experience everywhere!

Stayed at Springhill for Christmas while visiting family for 12 days. Hotel and Rooms where simple and clean. Staff was very helpful, when coffee was out they had more in minutes, when we needed to extend our trip during the busy time they figured something out and where very welcoming. Great location in my opinion as well. Things to consider working on. The Breakfast was truly a continental one and bland at best. Would be nice to have Waffles or Pancakes to go with the microwaved sausage and scrambled eggs. The bedding blankets were thin and the duvet had this thin little sheet not fully covering it. Only one sink even though there is a wet bar and the sink water pressure on third floor was weak. One of the two elevators was broken during our visit and the other one was super slow.

This location is not far from the Town Center Plaza and good restaurants. The motel is close to bars, gas, and a bakery. Beautiful room on the second floor facing away from the I-435 traffic. The breakfast was not extravagant but filling featuring cereal, fruit, eggs, sausage, muffins, toast, and bagels. No bugs of any kind and very clean. Quiet heater/airconditioner unit. Three reasons we did not rate it excellent. The mattresses sagged a little, there were was only one side table by one bed, and one reading light did not work. Price was great and the help very courteous. Will return here on our next visit.

Check in was great, only issue we had was that the thermostat in room had a dead battery and would only allow the ac to turn (mind you we were in kansas in November) and front desk assistant's only way to correct ot was to move us after we were already settled in or trll us to wait till the morning when the maintenance man came in.(note that in the morning when we reported it again it seemed that the front desk personnel had no clue that it was reported earlier) Other issue was the fire alarm went off both mornings about 830am during breakfast.

Nicest rooms I've ever stayed in. Very unique Hotel!

Good location. A little bit of highway noise but not too bad. Walls are a little thin. Desk staff very friendly. Housekeeping was very friendly but did not speak English. I would stay there again.
