Stayed here during a recent business conference. This hotel is stunning and a true gem. Immaculately clean. Service galore. The service by William at check out was top notch and had a lasting impression.

Staff at the front desk were eager to welcome me and check me in. Recent construction had been finished so there was no noise or dirt around the hotel and the room was reasonably comfortable. The offering of a fridge, microwave, and sink in the room was very handy. The location was conveniently central to everywhere I wanted to go and I could get there in 10 minutes or less.

We have stayed here several times. It’s “nicer” than the Overland Park one but not as well run as Lenexa. The renovations look nice but everything is put together wacky; loose door handles, latches that don’t quite meet, bathrooms so tiny that even a kid would have to turn sideways to close the door, tubs that don’t drain properly and sinks by the microwaves that stink to high heaven. The first room (204) had a smell so bad we couldn’t sleep. Next room (620) Desk phone in the room wasn’t connected to anything - no charge no connection useless. A sprinkler in the halll burst & fire alarms went off. No announcements, no alarm in room. No calls as the phone isn’t connected, no texts to cell phones. Some people evacuated but not everyone. We are in KC often - won’t stay here again. Breakfast is handy & morning staff are efficient & helpful. Hotel is convenient but I wouldn’t feel safe staying here again.

Was a very comfortable, clean experience and stay. The gym was amazing. The staff were friendly and amazing. The breakfast was above and beyond amazing and the bar was pretty satisfying too. I enjoyed my stay and every time that I come to Kansas City, I stay at this location for all those reasons so thank you and your staff for being amazing.

Nos encantó nuestra estancia en el Hyatt Place Kansas City/Overland Park/Metcalf. Desde que entramos, todo nos dio la impresión de estar en un hotel recién inaugurado: increíblemente limpio, espacios amplios, diseño moderno y una atmósfera muy agradable. Las habitaciones son espaciosas, funcionales y cómodas, perfectas para descansar después de un día en carretera. La piscina exterior fue un gran plus para relajarnos en familia, y el desayuno superó nuestras expectativas: variado, con buen café y opciones frescas y bien presentadas. La zona también merece una mención especial: tranquila, rodeada de otros hoteles bien cuidados, restaurantes, supermercados y zonas comerciales. Todo esto aporta un ambiente de seguridad y comodidad que realmente se agradece cuando se viaja con niños. Definitivamente volveríamos sin pensarlo. Agradecemos el esmero del personal por mantener los más altos estándares de limpieza, atención y confort. Hyatt Place Metcalf es un ejemplo de cómo se puede ofrecer una experiencia de hospedaje sobresaliente y sin complicaciones.

Staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. Breakfast was decent and staff swapped the empty items out quickly. Cons were the breakfast area was small and air conditioner didn't work well in my room.

I was charged $80.00 for three kids movies and there was nothing that states their is a charge. The room was on a points stay and the front desk clerk handed me the bill and didn't say anything.

Rooms cleaning needs attention. Carpet needs to be vacuumed, and bathroom floors mopped. I felt that bugs were crawling on me, so I didn't spend much time in the room.

Just okay. Maybe I've been spoiled by my recent stays at other Hyatt properties, but I was slightly disappointed here. The room was comfortable and clean but the shower was small and the bathroom had a constant smell of sewage. My next visit to KC I'll be staying at the Hyatt that's only one or two exits down the highway.
