We hebben hier een nacht overnacht, geluncht en gedineerd. Heerlijk gegeten en alles bereid met Veluwse streekproducten. Fantastisch uitzicht en omgeving. Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt en dit alles met een supervriendelijke bediening. Bent u op de Veluwe ga dan hier naartoe en verblijf bij het voorbeeld waarom vakantie in Nederland zo leuk kan zijn.

We stayed one night at the Hotellerie Carnegie Cottage in the National Park De Hoge Veluwe. It’s a very cozy hotel with a beautiful patio and glass-topped dining area. It overlooks a huge field of heather, which, in season, must be spectacular. There is also a nice view in April – lots of people walking their dogs between the big, crooked trees and farther out, the sand dunes. We sat outside sipping our drinks until our dinner was ready. We moved into the glassed area and had a delightful dinner. Beautifully presented and delicious! The staff couldn’t have been nicer - very helpful and very attentive. The only problem with this hotel is that the rooms need a major over-haul. Everything is very clean but dated. The bathroom was very stark with very small towels. Because we didn’t spend much time in the room and spent most of our time enjoying the evening on the porch, we considered it a very nice stay.

Op deze unieke plek in Nederland, is het werkelijk genieten, personeel heel vriendelijk. Klein familie hotel, kamers schoon, bedden heel goed maar het interieur is verouderd en doet wat rommelig aan. Kamers zijn beetje gehorig maar het uitzicht op de Veluwe maakt alles goed. Het geserveerde ontbijt is helemaal top! Advies is om kamer 7 te reserveren, deze kamer is op eerste verdieping aan de voorkant met uitzicht over de heide. (géén lift aanwezig!) Fietsen verhuur was niet mogelijk via hotel maar kan heel gemakkelijk in Otterlo zelf, 10 minuten lopen. Ingang Nationaal Park de Hoge Veluwe is héél dicht bij.

Carnegie Cottage is uniek en charmant. Ideaal voor een bezoek aan het Nationaal Park de Hoge Veluwe, 7 minuten lopen vanaf het hotel. Wij genoten van het half pension arrangement wat een aanrader is...

If the weather is OK than this a great place to have a coffee and at the terras. You have a wonderful view over the edge of the woods. The cake is great and worth trying! Not cheap here, 2 coffee, 2 cake and 2 glasses of wine 42 euro.

Heerlijke sfeer en je welkom voelen aan de rand van het dorp tegen de natuur aan. Vriendelijke bediening. Cosy kamer is wel echt klein maar dat wisten we. De super regen douche maakt wat goed. Heerlijk geslapen en gewandeld en gefietst.

The location was perfect, so close to the Hoge Veluwe National Park. We enjoyed having our cabin in the woods and the meals were delicious. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Gisteren een bak Thee gedaan met heerlijke brownie erbij. Home made. Daarna nog een drankje en bites. Het is binnen huiselijk en knus. Prima stop na een mooie wandeling. Fijne bediening. We komen zeker nog eens terug. Hartelijk Dank voor deze ervaring.
