Super 8 by Wyndham Ottawa Starved Rock

For this hotel, budget price does not mean a reduction in amenities nor service. The hotel in general was neat and clean. My room was Very Quiet, including the A/C. I needed to checkout very early, CJ offered to fix me a “grab n go” bag for my trip. I highly recommend this hotel

The entire hotel stunk, especially the rooms. Broken stuff not fixed when brought to their attention. Muggy in the rooms even with the AC

Amazing service! Everyone has been sweet, kind, outgoing, very helpful, & welcoming. I love the continental breakfast options. Very clean & quiet, I can be kind of a Goldie locks with pillows, but I haven’t had any issues. During my trip I met of a lot of nice people in the breakfast area.

The woman at the front desk was pleasant and professional. We had a lovely conversation. The room was clean and rather large. Breakfast was the usual continental breakfast, adding waffles and oatmeal for hot options. I was surprised that the rate was so much lower than several comparable hotels in the area. Mist like because it’s just off the main road, and no pool. But I just needed a quick, economical room, and I was not disappointed

Very clean beds & nice staff. This hotel has their mattresses & box springs covered with a zippered, very clean, brand new looking covers, which I really appreciate & think that it should be mandatory for All hotels to do so! When I stay in a hotel, the first thing I do, is check for bedbugs, & their beds are exceptionally Clean! I was impressed! The beds are a little softer than I prefer, but my son loved his bed! My only complaints are that the breakfast is lacking, they didn't offer very much, & the only milk they had for the cereal, was whole milk, not everyone can digest that. And they could definitely fill their snack food machine, there's only like 4 items in it! Overall, we would stay there again.
