Celebrated a birthday here last night. Couldn't fault the service or the high quality of the meal. Even better was the offer of a free main and dessert if it was your birthday! Even without the offer of the free meal, prices were very reasonable considering it was an hotel.

First Class staff, consistently friendly, and efficient. An excellent hotel for an overnight stay with the first class breakfast in the morning. We also ate in the coffee shop which is run by the hotel and the staff were excellent, once again friendly and efficient. We would be delighted to use this hotel again and commend it to you .

This hotel was amazing.. staff was great.. the manager and her husband Chris was so friendly.. the food was amazing.. and we had a free cd .. of the firefighters all over the country singing 🎵 for charity.. would highly recommend you stay there jackie dean x

We visited for my husband's 60th birthday and the staff went out of their way to make our stay special. The room was fabulous and the food fantastic but it is the staff that make this place stand head and shoulders above the rest. Nicola on reception and Sam at the bar particularly stand out but everyone we spoke to was just so lovely.

I stayed here for my 30th birthday with my wife, we were met by the receptionist and she was lovely and gave us all the information we needed. Our room was absolutely gorgeous we were extremely happy with it! The location was brilliant with shops, bars and restaurants all within a few minutes walk away! One thing we loved was the lovely welcoming atmosphere. We also chose to eat here and the food was absolutely amazing and more than reasonably priced. One negative thing must say though was there was one man (I presume restaurant/front of house manager) was very rude to staff and spoke to them awfully. It seemed alot of the staff were almost scared of him and he wasn't happy until he had an apology from staff, both me and my wife thought it was quite horrible to see. But other than that, our experience on a whole was amazing and will definitely be returning. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to stay here!

Only stayed the one night, wished that I could have stayed longer ,superb.The attention to detail was impressive, even down to the short note on the pad on the bedside table, wishing me a pleasant stay. I booked the Wynnstay as a base to visit a top Welsh non-league football team called The New Saints (TNS),who play on the outskirts of the town, and when Chris the manager heard about my plans, he kindly arranged a stadium tour for me and another couple with a contact at the club, which proved to be quite an amazing experience at this level of football ! The reception experience, the room and the next morning breakfast were all excellent. I cannot praise the Wynnstay enough, one of the best hotels that I have stayed in at an affordable level.

We stayed here while visiting relatives in the area. It’s such a lovely hotel. Tastefully refurbished, with very comfortable, well-equipped rooms. What really made the stay special though were the members of staff we met - all were genuinely warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome.

We recently celebrated a special anniversary hiring the Aintree Room, and were very impressed with the experience. From the start, their communication was excellent, ensuring everything was planned smoothly. They catered well for allergies and gluten free requests. On the day, the staff provided great service, making sure all our needs were met. The atmosphere was lovely, and we had a wonderful afternoon with family and friends. A big thank you to the team for making our celebration so memorable.
