Ciliegia Villa

I honestly don’t know why this Villa is not the first suggestion to pop up when looking for accommodations in Osoyoos! What a great find - and at $145/nite a way better deal than the standard cookie cutter rooms at a hotel in town. The unit is spacious, with a large bathroom. It has a fantastic view - and a balcony to enjoy it!

We stayed at this resort on our way to kelowna. The view of the osoyoos lake from the rooms are breathtaking. The rooms are aesthetically designed and well maintained. Ciliegia villa is a setup run by a couple who stay in the property and they take care of all the requirements of the guest on request . This property is an ideal retreat for a nice calm retreat in midst of nature. Would be ever ready to come back to this property on first available opportunity.

Large comfortable rooms overlooking the lake. Very happy with the accomodations. Check in was fairly easy via text. Nobody is present at the office but they were available if we needed anything (which we did not).

What a tough decision which town to stay on Amalfi Coast!! We decided on Minori because we expected it not to be overrun with tourists & we were really happy with our choice. Ciliegia Fruit Flats was our pick of the crop for an apartment & we were delighted not only with the amazing view but also the clean, comfortable & well equipped apartment. Communication & helpfulness of both Vincenzo & his team was great - they really look after their guests throughout the booking process, pre arrival & during our stay despite the fact they run alot of flats & are super busy during the season.. The apartment is right at the main church, a level 50m walk to the beach & is surrounded by cafes & good restaurants. Not much in the way of shopping in town but plenty of bars, local food shops, bakeries & gelato places. One note is it’s 122 stairs up to get to the flat with no lift so not for the fainthearted but definitely worth it for the view. Our extraordinary timing treated us to a mind blowing local 2 day festival (July 13th - Trofimina) offering religious processions, bands, a night of opera in the square (which wafted up magically to the apartment) & fireworks which rivalled NYE on Sydney Harbour! Quite a show for tiny Minori. The fact the town is small, family oriented & mostly Italian was a huge plus for us but a 10 minute walk to Maiori or short bus or ferry to Amalfi, Ravello, Salerno or Positano will ensure plenty to keep you entertained if you need more action & want to visit the area.

Morning sunshine streams onto the balcony perfect, for an early morning beverage, while watching the boats on the lake. We booked a suite with 2 queen beds. The queen bed was one of the most dreamy comfortable beds I have slept in in all my travels. Extra pillows were provided in the closet. The living room couch and chairs were cosy and comfortable. There is a large bar fridge. The coffee maker has amenities. The outdoor balcony was shared with another suite/room? which appeared to have a BBQ at their disposal. The bathroom was clean and new and had all amenities. We unfortunately experienced a large maintenance issue and management was quick to move us into a room with a king bed of equal or better value, although the fridge was half the size. We throughly enjoyed our stay at Cilegia Villa and wouldn’t hesitate to return.
