The hotel is on a mountain, facing the river valley, with beautiful scenery. It can only be reached by car. The room is large and the bathroom is even larger. The front desk service attitude is not very good.
The hotel restaurant is very good and the service is in place.
There is an ancient monastery nearby with a great view.

We were not able to maintain a minimally pleasant temperature in the room. They did not know how to give us an explanation of the malfunction (according to the control peogram everything was fine). They did not offer radiators to supply the air conditioning.

Despite thunderstorms and torrential rain we really enjoyed our visit to the region and our stay in Parador Sau. This impressive building has stunning views across the reservoir and is well located to explore the volcanic Garrotxa region and the nearby town of Vic. It is quite isolated but dinner and breakfast in the hotel were both very good.

Aunque un poco apartado de la “civilización”, quizás esto sea parte de su encanto por donde está ubicado y proporcione la tranquilidad y descanso a los que vivimos el resto del año inmersos en la vorágine de las grandes ciudades. Y si a esto le unimos el trato recibido desde que entras por recepción, pasando por el restaurante, cafetería y resto de personal de habitaciones, hacen que sea un lugar difícil de olvidar.
