It’s VERY central and nice location, but very noisy from outside . Rooms are ok but shower looks dirty:(.. OLD !!! Really need upgrade In our room smells smoke! Personal is very kind !.. and breakfast is 👌👌 Hope they a bit of touch as the price is not sooo much different from Choice Hotels

The best location, very close to everything. Excellent choices at breakfast - with a few Norwegian items such as brown cheese, turkey balls and heart shaped waffles. Daily cleaning of rooms. We were in a budget room, and, based on some reviews I’d read, I was apprehensive about what it would be like. Our room and bathroom were a reasonable size and there was everything you could need. The main attractions, such as the national museum, the floating saunas and the pick up points for the fjord trip and coach trip are all less than 10 minutes away. There are also several grocery stores and a pharmacy just a few minutes away. We enjoyed watching the live music in the jazz bar below one evening. The restaurant Egon, next door, also had a great atmosphere. We got the Flytoget train from the airport - takes about 25 mins - get off at the national theatre stop and it’s only a 5 minute walk from there. The hotel staff were always helpful. The lobby is small but there are a few tables and you can get a drink, coffee and snack. The hotel doesn’t serve food other than breakfast but is happy for you to get food delivered to reception. There was a hairdryer in the room. Overall excellent value for money. Only 2 small negatives - no extractor fan in the bathroom and, once you enter the budget part of the hotel , there is no signage for room numbers, which was a bit frustrating on arrival when tired with cases after a long trip. But was not a problem after we’d found it the first time.

Location and breakfast ! Old style toilett and much noise on the bidget room but worth it.
