Hotel? Or at best, a ryokan? My personal impression is that they took my luggage before I checked in, but I can understand putting a suitcase directly on the floor, but I've never put a shoulder bag on the floor outside. The lobby was also open, and the old man at the front desk was very surprised that the room was left directly on the floor even though shoes were worn, and the room was left directly on the floor until I checked in... And the lobby was air-conditioned, but the hallway on the guest floor was not. The room had a new air conditioner, but I didn't use the bath in the room because I was going to take a bath in the hot spring once, but the toilet and bathroom were together, but the toilet was not cleaned well, and it smelled of urine from the time I checked in, and since it was a unit bath that could be flushed, I wish they would clean it properly because it was so smelly that I had to hold my nose when I went to the toilet. The place was old and there was mold here and there, and it seemed like they were just barely open for business with some maintenance. The location was pretty convenient, so that was a good thing.

I stayed at a long-established inn on the 4th floor. It was inconvenient to have to take the stairs to get to the second floor. There are some rooms that can be accessed by elevator from the first floor. The amenities are single-use items, so if you are particular about quantity and quality, you may want to bring your own. It's convenient as it's close to the nearest supermarket.

Although it is an old hotel, it has a quaint feel, and the staff was attentive and warm, making it a very nice hotel. We were given a corner room on the 4th floor of the annex building, and it was a nice Japanese-style room with a calm atmosphere reminiscent of the Showa era, with ocean views from two directions.However, the Wi-Fi signal seemed to be unstable except near the front desk. did. I stayed for two nights, and they prepared different meals for both nights, and they even accommodated my last-minute request for additional dishes. The bath was more beautiful in the morning and during the day than at night, and I felt more relaxed. When I go to Oshima again, I would like to stay here again.

A hotel with a Showa-era feel. The facilities were quite old and the air conditioner vent was full of dust, so I had no choice but to turn it off. My room was on the fifth floor, so I could see the ocean from the window, but the window was too dirty. Other than that, the staff were kind and the food was delicious.
