Osaka Excel Hotel Tokyu

This hotel in Honmachi was chosen specifically for the convenience of visiting the World Expo. It is very convenient to travel directly to the Chuo Line, the accommodation room is spacious, and the overall comfort is very good.

The location is great, close to Saisaibashi, but a bit far from the nearby convenience stores. I wouldn't dare go down there alone at night. The staff were very friendly, with a Japanese touch of politeness. However, the cleanliness could be improved. It felt like walking into a domestic hotel.

I was immediately impressed with the room. We booked a room for three people, but it didn't feel crowded at all. The room was also very clean, and the cleanser and lotion provided in the sink were all Pola-brand. It's also very close to Isaibashi. Just walk across the street and you can start your day exploring.

Very suitable for bringing children. The beds can be put together.

The room is clean and tidy, and the location is OK

A standard Japanese-style hotel. Location: A bit out of the way from the Yokohama district, but within walking distance of the Shinsaibashi shopping district. Transportation: Not far from Hommachi Station on the Midosuji Line. Exit 14 (underground street) is recommended, which is better than Exit 13 (as recommended online). Lobby Service: The lobby amenities are average, with no coffee or tea bags or other amenities. The receptionist lacked empathy. I booked two rooms with four of us, and although I didn't request adjacent rooms, they assigned us rooms on different floors. This would have been fine for one or two nights, but I booked for eight, and after expressing my desire, we were offered two rooms on the same floor, quite far apart. Room Service: Rooms are cleaned every three days, and towels and bottled water are replaced upon request. However, other amenities, such as coffee and tea bags, may or may not be replenished depending on the staff's mood. Room Facilities: This is a purely Japanese-style hotel, but the power outlets are not designed to accommodate guests from other countries. Guests from Hong Kong, Macau, and Europe and the United States are advised to bring plenty of power adapters. The restroom and toilet are integrated into a single room, separated by a sliding door. However, the restroom has a clear glass door with no curtain. This means that if someone is using the restroom, you'll be able to see them inside. There's absolutely no regard for privacy. Overall, it's an okay hotel. I'd definitely consider staying at this hotel again if I were to visit Osaka again.
